Very knowledgeable and professional. Gavin came over to measure the kitchen and to give us a quote. He gave loads of useful advice about hob/oven types, space and connections needed, worktop types etc. Responded by email quickly and answered all questions that we had. Eventually we decided we are not going ahead with kitchen refurbishment and will only replace a cooker - thanks to his advice we were able to make a well informed decision and to choose the appropriate cooker. He did not charge anything, of course, and was happy to share details of his colleagues who could install the appliance.

Gavin has done a great job on our house and we would highly recommend him. We had a new stud wall, new flooring, new skirting boards and new pictures rails. He was very knowledgeable and professional but friendly at the same time. We are really pleased with the end result.

We’re very happy with the work Gavin has done. On each of the three occasions he has visited to deal with various carpentry tasks over the past couple of months, he has been punctual, clean and provided good service and finish. This has included fitting replacement kickboards for kitchen units, a baton for curtain track and dealing with a poorly fitting front door. We have asked him to return because we are pleased with the work he has done.

We wanted to build a small dog leg storage room within a room above our garage. Gavin has produced a great result and what I thought might look slightly odd looks as though it should always have been there, so he has blended this in really well to the rest of the room. He gives one price and brings in other trades where needed, in this case electrics and plastering. A really good team. This is the third job Gavin has done for us, the other jobs were the refurbishment of our utility room and boot room. His quotes are detailed enough, so you know clearly what you are paying for. A would highly recommend him.

Gavin has just refitted my repaired kitchen cupboard door which had been badly cracked in the centre. I had been at my wits end to find a solution as the door had been discontinued. It's an incredible finish and you'd never know. A brilliant carpenter and so helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
