Me & my mother-in-law were in the Great Western Road Carpet Right, a lovely man called Alan approach us and couldn't have been anymore helpful when trying to assist my mother-in-law picking a rug for her living-room. My mother-in-law is delighted with it and now we will be arranging another visit to look at carpets for her stairs.

I visited the store with a relative and purchased some Lucido Azure and my auntie was absolutely delighted with the service she received. Staff member Donald was helpful and was very knowledgable and ensured we were happy with everything before purchasing. Would 100% recommend to a friend based on customer service and quality of product.

The lady staff was friendly and helpful when I toured the shop weeks ago; after selecting what I wanted, she gave a quote of around GBP4700, which I accepted. Minutes later, she told me that a 10% discount can be offered if I can do an online review. Sure, I did. After deducting the discount, the whole price went down to GBP4300. I paid GBP3000 at the scene and the staff handed me a folder of printed materials. Everything looked okay. Jobs were done. But the nightmare just started.First, around one week later, a gentleman from Carpetright came to my house to measure, and after his calculation he gave me a new price of around GBP4900, which shocked me. Then I checked the printed papers given by the lady, finding that the written price was around GBP4600, rather than GBP4300 as was told by the lady. This is a betrayal of trust. Very disappointed, I attempted to phone the sales lady, but as anticipated the phone call went unanswered. When I was prepared to drive to the company in person, probably because the measuring gentleman told the lady my reaction, the lady called me back minutes later, agreeing to cut the price back to around GBP4400. Although the price finally seemed reasonable, my confidence was significantly undermined.Second, the sale lady promised me that the carpet can be fitted in around 2-3 weeks. This is untrue. The sale was agreed on 19 September 2023, but the fitting day was arranged at 16 and 18 October 2023. This is not 2-3 weeks in time; it is 4 weeks later. But I accepted it, given that some minor breaches are inevitable. However, on 7 October 2023, another person from the company phoned me that the carpet scheduled for being fitted on 18 October 2023 was not available and that I had to wait until this November. This is very disappointing. This company is an international chain, supposed to have plenty of stocks. If the company does not have the carpet in reserve, how did you promise your customer a sale. This cannot be said to be honest.Third, the company seems to be ill-managed. The sales lady gave me the initial fitting dates at 16 and 18 October 2023, but the company computer system email notification showed that the fitting date is 7 October 2023. At best, it is the company's internal communication issue, at worst it might be the Glasgow store playing the tricks fooling the company's headquarter that fitting is done within the promised timeline.Given that I have already paid the whole price (excluding the fitting cost of around GBP900), stopping this deal seems to be counterproductive. But I just want to post this review online to warn my peer customers; be aware of this company when choosing a deal there.

Fantastic customer service was fantastic was in and out the store a few times was unsure what I wanted and Deborah was very helpful on what was good selling and quality wise so I left my whole house done amazing deals 10/10 service would highly recommend carpet right and Deborah for help and customer service

Alan in the store was super friendly and helpful. I didn’t really know what I was doing as I’d never bought a carpet before, but he answered all my questions and got me all set. The carpet just got fitted today by fitters booked through the shop, and they seem to have done a good job. I was amazed at how soon I could get the carpet fitted and how quick the fitting itself was. The quote I got from Carpet Right was also cheaper than the other places I checked.

We visited Carpet Right , we were served by Mr Alan. Such a nice polite gentleman. Helped us to the core to select the carpets we were looking for. took so much interest and had patients for advising the right kind of carpets for each area s of house. I strongly recommend this store, if you are looking for any refurbishments or mattress. 5 stars !!!Thanks Mr alan.

Buying carpets for my first home, I was apprehensive as I didn’t know much. All of the staff were brilliant- Alan in particular. A friendly and patient salesman that talked me through everything…what a great team, I will definitely be back!!!

Ordered a house full of flooring, fitters came out but fitted the wrong flooring in 1 small section of the house. Complained directly and the manager immediately rectified the issue. New flooring was ordered and replaced within 2 weeks. Annoying the section was fitted wrong but mistakes happen. The rest of the house looked great! The customer service received was second to none. He understood my frustration and kept me updated during the entire process. Will definitely recommend this store to friends and family.
