Amazing food! And Amazing service, allow dogs inside which only makes the atmosphere more warm and cosy. The roast on the Sunday was delicious the amount of meat you get far surpasses anything from other local pubs.

Exceptionally good Sunday lunch. Brilliant food & friendly service. Great selection of well kept beers. Lovely comfortable decor & a large shady garden. Couldn't fault anything. We will certainly return, because the normal day to day menu also looks excellent.

Most definitely the best pub in the area.The food is exceptional, the service is top notch & the restaurant is set out perfectly, with a perfect distance between other diners.We eat here regularly & never had a bad meal.

Stunning Sunday dinner here. Brilliant service and the flavours were amazing. Even managed to squeeze in 3 courses (demolished my Belly Pork main before taking a photo)

Group of nine,Service was A1 shame it was let down in the kitchen, wellington beef was as tough as old boots was a shame as never had it before and thought it would be a treat especially at the cost £25+ strange take on the traditional fish and chips as batter had a heavy taste of curry powder? Same as the onion rings that came with the two steaks battered curry onion rings? On that I think I'll give the place a miss in future shame really as service was excellent but at the prices it should be perfect

Went after hearing good reviews. I wasn't disappointed, staff were very friendly and keen to give you a great dining experience. The steak was perfect and the chips were the best I've ever had. The dessert was amazing. It looks like they have had a refurb as its very clean with nice tables. Bar is well stocked and the menu has lots of choice, the chef is very creative with some fabulous choices. It is a little way to travel but really worth it.
