Premier Inn London Kensington (Earl's Court) hotel
Only a couple of minutes from Earls Court station with tons of food and shop options nearby. You have to request room service and extra towels, which isn't ideal. One of the lifts was out during our entire stay. We had a premier plus room, which included AC and a fridge. The fridge wasn't exactly cooling our food, and the channels on the TV were a bit limited. I'd recommend it as a budget option, but it's by no means a luxury experience.

There is a lot to like about this premier inn. The location is good, close to to supermarkets and 2 tube stations. It is in a good neighborhood. For London, the rooms are large. The air conditioning worked well during the heatwave. However there are a couple of things about the room that I didn't like it all. The bathtub/shower combination is not only impractical, but rather dangerous in my opinion. The tub is very high and difficult to get into. Additionally, it is extremely narrow. Literally you almost have to stand with your feet together to shower. I was very nervous the entire time I was taking a shower, and certainly did not enjoy the experience. You also have to be extremely careful when turning the water on in the shower. DO NOT TURN THE WATER ON WHEN YOU ARE STANDING IN THE SHOWER. Make sure you know how to work the faucets before you step in. I scalded my feet before I could get them out of the way of the water. This was not a pleasant experience. One other thing to be aware of at this hotel, as at many London hotels, are the multiple fire doors on every floor. For someone checking in and trying to move two large bags to my room, it was extremely frustrating to have to get through two of these doors to get to my room. Of course, the doors do not open towards the rooms, but rather towards you, which means you have to stop, put your bags down, open the door, drag your bags through the door and continue down the hall to another fire door where you get to repeat the process. This is not only idiotic but extremely frustrating.

The building looks grim, but be surprised by a great interior. We were in a room quite far from the facilities and that's the only thing that was less than I would like. The staff were wonderful. All of them so lovely friendly and helpful. Dawn was our receptionist, then our waitress at dinner. She was so helpful, the food was yummy and good value as well.

Stayed for 6 nights with a school group. Location is fantastic, not even a 2 minute walk from Earls Court station and other local amenities. Night times also nice and quiet. Hotel staff very attentive and helpful. Rooms and cleanliness of hotel was great. breakfast and dinner very filling and great portions. Would highly recommend. Did a great job catering for our school group.

Weirdest Premier Inn I’ve ever stayed in. We got a room on the 4th floor but had to go up to the 2nd, go through what felt like a maze and a walkway and then go up a further 2 floors to get to our room. No parking even for disabled guests- you’re directed to a public car park that’s shared with the Marriot across the road but they don’t state there’s literally like 8 bays only and for 24 hours it’s £40+- we had a disabled child with us and got lucky nabbing the last space otherwise idk what we would have done. We phoned up ahead of time as we normally do when we plan to visit somewhere and we were assured there were plenty of spaces in the public car park- but yeah there’s literally only a few spaces so beware. Also the entrance to said car park is on the other side- very confusing. Anyway the hotel itself was clean and comfortable albeit like I said a bit of a maze- bottlenecks in a few areas where it got crowded at checkout times and you need room key to access toilets in public areas. The service was 20/10 but it’s a run down hotel for sure. Amazing place to get to places of interest however. I would use it again now I know what to expect I just wish I had more upfront info about the parking situation as it wasn’t suitable for my child.

Loved it, used P.I. lots of times but this was a really good experience. At reception they took our bag early and stored it for no charge, they moved our room to a more accessible area due to my mum, who they spotted was on a walking stick.Good bar service, room large and very clean. London Hotel prices are never cheap but this was great value. Good pubs and restaurants nearby as well and close to Earls Court tube and museums.

My family and I are very happy with our stay at Premier Inn London Kensington Hotel. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the location and its price. The hotel is located only a short distance from the underground station, and walking distance from a few other places we wanted to visit. The rooms are basic, but they have everything we needed for our stay. Rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. There are the train tracks running under the hotel but we couldn't hear any noise and it didn't disturb us at all.Good breakfast, very good choice of food and drinks. There was something for everyone. Big plus for having a dairy free milk option! We also had our evening meal one night at the hotels restaurant. Good choice of food and drinks, and great service! All the stuff who works at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. We've enjoyed our stay!

Overall this is a good hotel maybe not the best PI but the great staff make up for any shortfalls. We spent 3 nights and paid for the full breakfast. Close to the underground and plenty of shops/bars nearby. This PI has some rooms on the other side of the road and you have to use a walkway bridge... not a big issue as long as the lifts are working but during our stay the lifts were troublesome so we would not recommend this side for anyone with disabilities. The rooms were clean and towels changed daily but you have to ask (this seems to be becoming more common) we found the hotel quiet enough in the evenings but the rooms were very warm and a lot warmer than we were use to. Breakfast was great but some items did run out and you had to wait a bit we went down at 9am so it was a busy time. Staff are wonderful and a credit to PI. Whatever they pay them it's not enough. It looked like some areas were being updated as we saw new beds arriving and some of the carpets needed looking at. The only real issue I had was booking in was at 3 pm and you have to pay £10 to book in early which I think is a PI policy, this upset some customers at the desk and personally if the room ready why make unhappy customers and solve the long wait at 3pm with loads of people waiting to book in.

Changed room because the air con didn't work. It did in the second room. Good blackout curtains and very quiet room on the 6th floor meant we got some good rest. The bed could've been a lot firmer but that’s just my taste. It's clean. The room was made up when I asked it to be. The kitchen staff were friendly and helpful, even coming out unprompted to assist as they could see I use a walking stick. FOOD was OK... not amazing, but did the job - It's a Premier Inn, not The Ritz. Our room was in an annexe over the road which meant there was a bit of a confusing trek and 2 lifts when entering and leaving. The room was a bit small and I would've appreciated handrails in the bath or a walk in shower.A bit of a wait to check in and no-one answers the p24 hour phone-in late at night but very good value especially for London. I'd probably stay there again.
