Jim & Ellie were perfect hosts. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked to meet your requirements. Would strongly recommend the Empire Travel Lodge. You won't be disappointed.

Super nice host and very clean roomsBreakfast was very nice.Only topic - the doors have a spring and walls very thinI woke up 1 h earlier than planned because of all the other rooms leaving and the door shutting so loud.However i will not reduce the total rating due to the super nice stay in total and the super nice hosts

Rooms are spotlessly clean. Beds are comfy. Breakfast is very good. Value is excellent. Jim and Ellie are kind and welcoming. One of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. Great stop for passing cyclists.

It's not easy to find accommodation in this part of Argyll but The Empire Travel Lodge is perfect so make sure you book early. Clean, comfortable rooms with great breakfast (esp the coffee). But it is the warm welcome and the flexible approach that really makes a difference. This is absolutely my go-to accommodation in that stunning part of the world.Secure storage for bikes too - what more could anyone want?

Very nice room, clean and very homely, Jim & Ele were were great hosts very friendly, breakfast was good pleanty too choose from. I would definitely stay again and would encourage others too stay aswell. Quite place but it's under development just now so great things too come.

The Empire Travel Lodge
From the outside it does not look like much but it used to be the cinema years ago hence the strange type of building for a B&B. Once inside though it extremely clean and fresh and the room are also clean and fresh, the breakfast is excellent and the couple who run it are extremely welcoming. Would stay again.

Had a late check in and everything was where i was told it would b. comfy beds and a very clean room. Breakfast was great and owners very nice. This was a business stay but would use it on a personal note if i was up this way.
