Coillemore House

This is a lovely house. The situation, the peace, and the view is all first class.It's a five bedroomed , three and a half bathroomed property, set in its own large private grounds, with a delightful kitchen, leading onto a patio BBQ area with a hot tubThere is plenty of room to find a quiet spare and central to go anywhere, Plockton, Skye, and Applecross, etc.The host keeps good communication with you, including advice on where to eat.They even produce a brochure about the property, which is helpful,A delighful getaway from the maddening crowd kinda place, which I would love to go back to in the future.

Absolute Perfection! Stunning house and views! The house was fully equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable and welcoming stay. The kitchen was stocked so we were able to make meals throughout the day and it was nearby co-ops to fill the fridge. The hosts are WONDERFUL! Truly so friendly and warm and helped arrange excursion as well as provided a wealth of knowledge about the area. The house felt like a home away from home. The hot tub outside with the big outdoor space was so tranquil and peaceful. Loved how spacious each bedroom was and the bathrooms gave everyone the space they needed in our group.

Beautifully restored and maintained stone house with plenty of parking and a spacious yard w/ a wood burning hot tub!There is plenty of space and more for large gatherings. Very large kitchen makes it enjoyable to cook meals for big groups. A short drive to the loch and stores in the nearby town.

First time in the Scottish countryside and this house was the perfect place to stay. The kitchen was huge and modern. It was hard to hangout anyplace else. The deck was relaxing with a great view of the Loch. Used this location as base for Isle of Skye trips and local nature outing. Will stay again

A beautiful , comfortable , very well equipped house . Stunning views and oh how we would have dearly LOVED to book it again for 2024 , but the price is far too high now.. having almost doubled since we booked for this year , so unfortunately we are unable to book again . A pity really because we took such great care of it during our stay , leaving it in the immaculate condition we found it . Stunning, comfortable home in the perfect location. The kitchen was sufficiently well equipped to cook for 11 people. The bedrooms were very comfortable and could be configured with single or double beds. Luxurious bathrooms. Manicured grounds with exquisite views. Log-fired hot tub. We were there for a family vacation May 13-21 2023 & I'd highly recommend it!

The Coillemore House is an extraordinary and exquisitely designed residence. From the meticulously crafted garden to the enchanting winding staircase, every aspect of this home showcases remarkable attention to detail. The presence of beautiful antique furniture and breathtaking views provided us with an unforgettable experience amidst the scenic Scottish mountains.The grandeur of the kitchen, filled with an abundance of natural light, perfectly complements the stunning landscape that unfolds before our eyes. It is a truly magnificent sight, turning the kitchen into a picturesque haven. Staying in this exceptional home has been a unique and unparalleled experience, unlike any other I have had the privilege of encountering.

What a magical and wonderful home!! We stayed in late august, extended family, ages 8months - 60+ and the house was just perfect for all of us. Views from the window are very much defined by Christopher Murray Grieve’s ‘Scotland Small?’, with the interior perfectly decorated with every amenity you can think of. We will be back every year to drink the whiskey and bask in front of the fire (and in the hot tub)!!

Stunning house, stunning views, stunning location.We had the absolute pleasure of spending a long weekend at Coillemore House in February, it's in a fantastic location, perfect for exploring with stunning walks on the doorstep, Isle of Skye is a short drive away and its not too far from the sea.There are so many good things to say about this property, it's very tastefully decorated, the beds were really comfortable, the views from the property are amazing, the hot tub is in the perfect spot for that glass of fizz at the end of the day and the hosts Simon and Ros were 10 out of 10. Can't wait to come back.

Our group just ended our stay at the Coillemore House which was the perfect way to experience the Highlands. We were impressed with how spacious and comfortable the home was for our large party. We especially loved the kitchen which was well stocked and a nice, warm gathering space. The house is also accommodating for remote work if necessary. There is plenty to do nearby whether you’re into the experiencing nature and local wildlife or dining out and enjoying local libations. We were also very thankful for our hosts who attended to our every need and knew so much about the area and wanted to make sure that we had the vacation of a lifetime. I can’t wait to go back!
