This is no longer Chow taxis - taken over by Dragon taxis who have no empathy with customers who want to get their cat to a vet. Not pet friendly at all.

I use Chow Taxis a lot for work and personal transport, and they are punctual, reasonably priced and the drivers are nice.I particularly want to compliment driver no. 21 for his kindness and patience in the early hours of 24.03.22Will continue to use Chow, and to tell others about their great customer service.Best taxi company in Newport.

Booked the taxi 2 and a half hours in advance. After waiting 5 minutes I rang to see where it was, they told me a location and it would be soon. Another 10 minutes later I rang again as it still wasn't here after waiting outside in the cold for 15 mins. Told it was in a different location and would be soon. When it finally arrived the driver told us he had only just been sent the job. Will not be using them again as we were extremely late.

He was a little late but I understand things can hold the driver up. The driver I used today was great, chatty but not too much and just a nice bloke. I have had the odd issue in the past but today made a difference and I will continue to use the service if I continue to receive the same quality of drivers.

Very polite and friendly service when I phoned. Not sure who I spoke to but very helpful as needed to pay contactless when discharged from the Grange Hospital during early hours. Quoted very reasonable rate. Unfortunately my bank could not authorise the set up for a payment - seemed my bank didn't see Chow as a trustworthy payee - the guy at Chow was lovely and understanding. I'm very sorry that I didn't get to use their taxi service. But I will definitely keep them in mind for future. (I did get home ok in the end!)

Absolutely rubbish, the taxi didn't knock on the door and when I got outside the driver had gone, drove back past to say he had rang me and then drove back off

Just got picked up and usually charged £5.70 and was charged £6 taxi driver asked do you know how much you are paying yes it a lot of money but if I choose to pay it iis my business its the second time now that has happened I think it's a bit rude to be questioned why your paying for it and it's keeping your taxi firm in business

I live in chepstow and use these guys regular for our monthly food shop and days out. They're always on time, the drivers (bar one, in years of experisnce) are all patient and wonderful. They accept card or cash payment. Will help you in and out with pushchairs/shopping. Would 100% recommend.

Absolutely brilliant customer service from all at Chow! We needed transport for 6 for a small family get together Boxing Day out and back.They we’re bang on time with 2 cars out and bang on time again for our return, this time with a 6 seater that we weren’t expecting at all! We had a brilliant day out catching up with family that we don’t get to see so much. These guys at Chow impressed us that much that my wife rang them back as soon as we got home just to say thanks to them all. Would we use them again? Definitely!!! Thanks all again
