West Sussex Drum Lessons

Pascal is a great drumming teacher. He always brings out the best in his students and keeps them interested and motivated. Our son loves his drumming lessons with Pascal.

Pascal has taught my fourteen year old son for nearly four years. I cannot rate him highly enough and would not hesitate to highly recommend him for drum lessons. Pascal is a great teacher and lessons are fun and have engaged my son well. He is supportive, positive and encouraging in his manner. I have always been impressed with how Pascal weaves the teaching of the theory of music into the practical to help my son improve in his drum playing skills alongside developing his knowledge and understanding too.

Really great progress has been made by my 10 year old son in the past 18 months. He is taking grade 2 currently but I feel the scope of his learning has been wider than just coaching towards this grading. Wider conversations around music and a drummers role in bands has made the experience feel richer. The teacher has made both my kids feel very at ease and keen to learn. Highly recommend.

Back to the drums! Following a long time since my early days in a R n B band from sixth form days Pascal appeared for some drum coaching and went to work on my existing “skills”. He is a brilliant teacher and communicator and a rare wealth of knowledge on so varied a resume of genres…( I really do not get garage!).His mode of instruction along with superb demos, is a great skill in itself and I found myself learning so much more than I knew. He also coached my Godson, although a talented musician, but never been near the drum kit. Pascal is able to adapt to any level off skill sets or age range. The late great Charlie Watts claimed to never had any lessons but learned by watching other drummers, alas we are not all blessed with that capability. Pascal comes highly recommended for any drummer – present or wanna be youngsters. You could do a lot worse than watch and listen to Pascal.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Pascal as a drum teacher. He has taught my son for the last five years and I have been impressed with Pascal's patience, his ability to communicate to young people and the depth of his subject knowledge. He has a real passion for the drums and is adept at teaching a range of musical genres. If my son wants to learn how to play a particular song, Pascal will always take the time to familiarise himself with it if he doesn't already know it so that he can effectively teach the techniques needed. For rapid progress, challenge and enjoyment, you won't find anyone better than Pascal for drum tuition.

Pascal is a brilliant drum teacher and my son is doing really well. He tailors each lesson to the particular needs of the day and Will always comes out having progressed in some way. Pascal is friendly and welcoming and makes the lesson a really fun experience. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for drum lessons in the area.

Pascal has been teaching my son, since his start on a third hand electric drum kit over 6 years ago, to his fully fledged proper kit (which he sourced for us), preparing him for tests along the way. He is supportive, encouraging and a pleasure to know and had been a great mentor for my son.
