Ruth Stein School of Dance

My daughter has been taught by Ruth for the last 7 years. She loves her lessons and also that she is taught extremely well. I highly recommend.

My daughter has danced with Ruth Stein for 6 years; since the age of 4. Ruth and her staff have always been so professional, welcoming and have such huge dedication to each and every student and their family. My daughter loves her lessons and dances 4 times a week in different classes. She particularly loves her one to one lessons with Ruth who has choreographed a bespoke dance for competition dancing. I thoroughly recommend this dance school!

This is a lovely dance school . Professionalism, poise and enjoyment are all encouraged in all types of dance. We have seen real improvement all-round in our daughter , who has developed in different dance styles alongside her ballet.

I enrolled my daughter at the school about 4 years ago on recommendation from another parent. It was the best decision I made. Have been to other local schools in my area but it is worth going a little farther to attend Ruth Stein’s school.The main reasons are that Ruth teaches the ballet classes herself to high standards; she and her team are very professional and friendly; and the classes have a small number of students.If you want a more amateurish club with less standards then don’t go there!I can only praise the continuity of teaching during the pandemic moving to an online platform and reviewing onsite processes to minimise risks.I have every confidence in the school training my daughter to the best of her abilities.

Our daughter has been attending the dance studio for over a year now and absolutely loves it. She was a little shy at first but Ruth and Jo were so welcoming she never looked back after day 1! Couldn't recommend it more.

My daughter has had dance lessons with Ruth Stein for 5 years, studying ballet, tap and modern dance. Ruth and her teachers are so talented, inspiring and exceptional at what they do. They teach young children up to adults and have started the careers of many talented dancers. Their productions are so professional and give children the opportunity to perform in shows which are truly amazing. I would highly recommend Ruth Stein School of Dance to any parent looking to for an introduction into dance for their child. My daughter loves her dance lessons and has learnt so much. My daughter joined the Ruth Stein School of Dance a few months prior to lockdown.She had attended a different class/provider for a number of years. Ruth was recommended to us and we are very grateful she was.My daughter is delighted with the weekly Ballet class. She is always very enthusiastic to attend and has really improved even when the classes swapped to online for a period of time.The class is inclusive, professional and very enjoyable and communication is great. The level of teaching quality stands out.I would highly recommend the classes.

Having experienced the dance world myself I wanted to make sure my children had a great experience of ballet. I wanted them to love it yet be taught by professionals who knew what they were doing. I am not disappointed. Ruth has shown them how to grow and love ballet. They have learnt so much and not just in terms of syllabus. They are confident and happy children who can't wait for their classes each week.I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else. The k you Ruth for doing a wonderful job and loving the children beyond their ballet as well.

Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, especially with the little ones, combined with professional-level development Both girls and boys in attendance. Our daughter looks forward to her classes each week!

My daughter has danced with Ruth for 10 years, since she was 5 years old and has enjoyed every second. Ruth and her team are exceptionally professional and the teaching is of the very highest standard. The DansAcademy for older students looking for a career in the Arts is incredible. Ruth and the team also encourage the dancers to get involved in the All England Dance Festivals where students can compete whilst gaining valuable performance experience. I would recommend - 10 out of 10
