Ive booked a place and used this place a lot recently as slowly clearing out rubbish from my home and garden. I popped in yesterday to drop off a couple of boxes and was told off for not booking!

I have ALWAYS found staff to be courteous and pleasant. I travel to CD from Dalbeattie, because my experience(s) at CD have been significantly better.

A wide range of waste is accepted for recycling including glass, paper, cardboard, plastic bottles etc, food tins, green waste, wood, electrical goods and plenty of others. Access is easy and the staff are always very helpful. My favourite recycling centre!

Very disappointed with the abruptness of the overly authoritative clipboard man on the gate who shouted at us to hurry up as we were beyond our 10 minute slot! Told we should have booked a double slot but the booking page doesn't seem to highlight this as an option. No need for such rudeness ... politeness doesn't cost anything.
