The Long Walk
Fantastic location to have fun walking, jogging, and dog walking. No facilities on the Long Walk itself, but many options up at the Cambridge Gate (Castle) end itself. Dogs always enjoy themselves on the Long Walk!

The Long Walk
Beautiful place to visit and to walk through history. Plenty of green spaces and monuments to see around the area. If you're lucky you may see deers too.

The Long Walk
This was a wonderful walk which must have been about two and a half miles each way. We left it quite late so it was already getting dark which meant we got a great view of the moon and the london skyline for the Statue as well as the queue of planes coming in to lane at Heathrow. It was scary walking back in the dark as it is rutting season and I really didn’t fancy my chances trying to escape the many stags which were chasing everything in sight. The sounds they make are not for the weak hearted. Nevertheless it was a good walk and I’m sure it is even better in daylight. It’s nice also as it’s a long straight path and there’s no cycles either. Besides the deer we saw some beautiful dark brown cows, grouse and bats when it turned dark.

The Long Walk
When you only see these iconic British landmarks on TV, and then you are face-to-face with it, the emotions are overwhelming. This is the path that the alte Queen was walked before beyong buried in St George's Chapel. It's a straight line road with a beautiful lawn on both sides of it.I absolutely enjoyed it!

The Long Walk
Iconic and popular walk in Windsor that follows a wide and perfectly straight tree lined avenue between George IV gate at Windsor castle to the Copper Horse atop Snow hill 2.64 miles away. The top of snow hill affords excellent views back down toward Windsor castle and the wider area. The walk is further than it looks so allow 90minutes to 2 hours for the round trip.

The Long Walk
Majestic to visit, gracious in scale, and free. If you’re in the area it’s worth checking out.I’d encourage you to walk the length starting at the castle, walking both directions to firstly the monument and then back towards the castle. It’s a gentle and pleasant walk on a fine day weather wise. Might skip it on a wet day.

The Long Walk
The Long Walk is a 2.64 mile path that stretches from the statue of King George III, to the gate of Windsor Castle. One both sides of the path are a double row of 1,652 elm trees, planted during the reign of King Charles II. The smooth path itself was constructed by Queen Anne in 1710 for a comfortable ride in her coach.

After flying over Windsor Park over the years, I decided to pay a visit. The walk from The Castle to the Statue of George III is well worth it. On the return journey, I made a detour to see the deer.
