The Kitesurf Centre

I loved my week learning how to kitesurf. I had loads of fun, although I ended up in the water quite a lot but I continue having the appetite to continue learning. We had Clive as our instructor, who is very knowledgeable and patient. I would recommend the Kitesurf Centre to anyone who wants to give it a go

Accommodated our small group of young leaders well. Everyone was flying a kite within 20 minutes! It was brilliant fun. Would definitely return.

Absolutely brilliant company. Needed a specialist order for my bridle lines and Rupert was the man for the job! Initially the order wasn't right but Rupert gave me tons of options on how I can easily fix the issue, in the end we sorted a solution! They even allowed me to return the first product.Thank you again Rupert!

My older teen and I had a paddle board lesson through the Kitesurf Centre, using a Virgin Experience voucher. Great communication from booking through to instructions emailed the day before. There were changing rooms at the centre, a portaloo and loads of free parking in the car park next door. We had such an amazing time and our instructor was brilliant - very calm, clear, knowledgable and experienced. He made the session really fun and it was just the right length of time. There was no pressure to stand up (rather than kneel) but he was encouraging and on hand if we did fall in, to help us back on the board. Wetsuits, along with a buoyancy jacket, were provided. We were worried about how cold we would get in the sea (with it being May) but the wetsuits were amazing - thick enough that we didn’t get cold at all.Top Tip - take matters into your own hands and make sure you voluntarily jump into the sea early on…. suddenly all fear of falling in was gone and we gained loads more confidence in standing up! Can’t wait to use our own boards this summer - I feel much more confident about going in the sea with them and making decisions about safety.Thoroughly recommend a paddle boarding lesson with the Kitesurf Centre - it’s a great sport for all! Thanks for a great experience!

Really fun experience if you are looking for something a bit different. Friendly staff, very nice welcome when we first arrived, playing music for us etc. Shame we didn't get long on the actual buggys with the kites due to weather at the end, would have preferred the kite section cut shorter having known the wind was going to drop.

This is an amazing place and set up for people at all levels to start their kite surfing journey.Highest levels of professionalism and focus on safety , fan and improvement as Stan, our favorite instructor explained us. The place feels like home, very relaxed and informal yet professional with high quality equipment and solid advice from both instructors and staff members.Stan is able to articulate, demonstrate and support every student (both my son and I) along the journey, keep it fun , engaging and SAFE.Kudos Stan, Steve and Stoka , my son and I are looking forward to meet the “sea dudes” and continue the training.

Superb centre. Zoe very helpful to set everything up to suit you, no ego or intimidation for beginners, all welcome! Adam is a super energetic, empathetic and precise instructor with lots of accurate direction. He got me ably kiting very quickly- the progression was so fast! I recommend 121 class better and faster than a group. Great kit, excellent site set up right on the beach which is beautiful. What more could you want? Highly recommend to all.

Great place to learn kiteboarding. Good instructors and equipment. Well stocked shop with all kinds of kitesurfing gear. Friendly and good vibe. Highly recommended.

Second lesson Kite Surfing. Absolutely outstanding.Spectacular location. Tide out. Vast flat sand beach. Sea water warmish !!! Thorough, professional, engaging and safe instruction.

I was given vouchers for my birthday to learn how to land buggy - Jamie our instructor was very patient with us and gave us lots of opportunity to learn the skills needed. It was great fun and much harder than it looked - would recommend giving it a go! Just to note there are not accessible toilets near - the centre does have portable toilets for customer use.
