Scamming company! AVOID!!Castle water have charged me for the wrong meter and made me pay £697, for 3 months. Small bsuiness, a toilet to flash and only 2 people working. when I changed supplier and they found the correct meter, castle asked me to contact my current supplier and update the CMOS. which was done and I provided proof. Emailed JACK DICKSON, and he does not wish to help ,insead castle water keeps making excuses and NOT willing to pay my money back.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM , they are number one SCAMMERS!

Absolute rubbish company,Received a bill in Feb for over 400£, never received previous billscalled to explain, they setup online billing, never froze bill so now the amount is £700+These people are like a little mafia1 month and no ones replied, I have called every weekTurns out, they don't bother emailing people even if they can see bills racking up.They believe royal mail us perfect and bills don't go missing,anyway bigger issue is that they let you create a complaint all the while they know no one will reply back, in the meantime the bill is gaining around 100£ a weekwhy allow people to create complaints?why not reply?why keep adding to the amount in dispute?why not email customers?This company has perfected this technique, bleeding small businesses, well done you!

Avoid at all costs. They set up a fictional account for us and tried to charge hundreds of pounds for a couple units use. On the phone some of their operatives are rude and abrupt, they don't listen to what you try to tell them. One of, if not the most useless company I have ever had to deal with.

Worst customer services I faced. Takes over 30 minutes for them to answer a call. On their website they say best and fastest way to contact is via webchat - I tried that for a whole afternoon, they kept saying no one available after waiting ages!My original query was due to a late payment. Castle Water claimed they posted a couple of letters in February 2023. I said they never came. I said as soon as we were made aware of the bill via email we paid it within days. However they imposed a £50 fine. Even though I explained that we didn't receive the original bill at our address, the guy goes you need to take it up with the postal services. I said the postal services aren't charging me £50 fine, Castle Water is. He argued with me asking if we accept late payments in our business. I said if our customers aren't aware of a bill and they make full payment once they are then we do not impose any fines. He said well we are in a right to charge the fine as it'd been delayed. Kept going in a circular argument where he was saying delayed and I was saying paid soon and actually received the bill! In the end I said I'll raise with complaints department. Waiting to see what they do! If no resolution I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.I decided to check their reviews on Google and trustpilot...was shocked to see 1.5 score out of 5 on Google and recent reviews on trustpilot are mainly complaints! If Castle Water really wants to be a business taken seriously, you need to read the reviews and sort out your services and customer dealings! Company needs a serious review.I understand the reviewers who have called them liars. A guy called Scott Ross claimed a bill was sent to us on the 2nd of Feb (we didn't receive). He then claimed there were further follow up letters. I asked when. He gave another date in February. After the call I went on the on-line portal and checked every letter they sent as they are archived under our account. There are no follow up letters since the first missing bill. The next letter they issued was in May which came via email and we paid the full bill element. Scott was trying to make up lies to argue more than 1 bill/letter was sent to us. But their own records say different. DO NOT MAKE MISTAKE OF USING THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY!This is an additional point after resolution. I must praise Shona Keiller from the complaints team who listened to the conversation I had with Scott Ross and she apologised for his behaviour. The worst part was when he claimed after the first bill there were reminders sent and made up dates to make his point. Shona confirmed there were no reminders after the first bill and she organised the refund of the £50 penalty. If all their staff were like Shona then I wouldn't have left this negative review. It's sad the bad ones spoil things for the good ones.

Stay away from this company. They try to rip you with all big charges. My normal bill is around £53 a month and they have sent a bill for more than £1000 saying the consumption is more which is a lie. They get the profits from adding huge late payment fees and debt collection charges. It's a nightmare dealing with castle water. All the good reviews are probably written by themselves. If you are business STAY AWAY.

my bill due date 24 may 2023 which i paid on 23 may 2023. castle water passed my details to debt collection agency before the bill date overdue. they keep billing me £250. debt collection said there is nothing to pay. its fqn your own mistake idots

Lady called Alison in Debt Collection is just there to charge money, she has no sense of customer service and will do anything to charge you extra even though it wasnt your fault.will be reporting her and castle water for conning people.

Really bad. I wish I had read these reviews :( We were automatically moved to Castle water when Thames Water stopped supplying businesses our area. Castle Water came out added in a smart meter ( no option not to) and suddenly we received a bill for £2,000 which quickly rose to £4000. DD was taking thousands from our little business and I couldn't get through to Castle Water to stop it. Finally they put the account on hold and said that two smart meters were attached to our business -so presumed all the flats above were connecting to our account. They then said they can't deal with those meters? That they would need to get Thames Water out. Well that was months and months ago. I ring every 3/4 weeks- takes me approximately 30-40 minutes to get through, they say it's been 'escalated'- most times. I worry about this and that's not fair. I worry that even when they find the problem they will have to untangle the issue and I know they are not up to the job.
