We came here for a hot drink and a lunchtime snack. The cappuccino were good and reasonably priced, but the sandwich, although nicely presented (with dressed salad garnish) was expensive for what was served. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The choice of drinks (including alcoholic) was good and the menu included a good selection of dishes ranging from snacks to more substantial meals. The range of cakes and baked items was good and they all looked tasty. Food is cooked and prepared to order so you may have to wait a bit depending on what has been ordered before you.The view over the moorings and reservoir is nice and there are plenty of tables indoors and out.The toilets (unisex with wash basins and hand dryers in the cubicles) had plenty of toilet paper and soap, but could do with a proper clean as the floors and walls were very grubby. We will return next time we're in the area.

Nice little cafe with lovely views and several picnic benches to sit outside. We had sausage chilli mozzarella toasties with cold drinks and icecream after a long walk with our pooch from the Sykes carpark. You order and pay for the food inside and get table service bringing the food outside when ready. The weather was sunny and very warm and the views were stunning. Rutland waters was calm while lots of people were enjoying sailing or having fun on the beach and in the water. Definitely one of the best places to go for a nice leisurely walk.

Great little cafe right on waters edge in Normanton overlooking Rutland Water. Very attentive staff with good carpets of food and drinks both hot and cold. Very pleased it was dog friendly and will definitely be returning. Would have given 5 stars but due to being busy service was a little slow. Overall very satisfied and especially the special of Beef chilli with rice, extremely tasty! Well done to all the staff.

Cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and lovely views of Rutland Water in places. Good value for money, basic options (breakfast, burgers, paninis, cakes, coffee and ice cream etc) but everything was well presented and service was quick even for cook to order items. Gluten-free lemon cake was tasty and moist.

Staff great. Good location. Food pretty good but overpriced for what you get. Simply bacon was just that. A couple of rashers of bacon and 2 thin slices of bread with a few salad leaves for £6.29 is not great value. Dog friendly is a plus.
