Lovely secluded cabins that even when there are no leaves on the trees, are well hidden at the back where the hot tubs are.Quiet with plenty of walks, nature trails, etc. Small centre for cafe food and quite limited shopping.

This is an amazing place to visit, if your looking for a quiet place to unwind this is it. The staff are amazing and professional, very well run. We stayed in the tree house and boy was it good. Not my first visit and definitely won't be my last.

Enjoyed our stay at Deerpark. Lodge was clean on arrival. All the staff members we met were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Good size rooms. Great shower and additional bathroom. Made use of the hot tub. Fabulous location for visiting attractions and beaches. A great holiday location.

My family have enjoyed holidays at Deer park since it opened and have wonderful memories. Staff knowledgeable and fun. Accommodation changed through the years and now very comfortable and modern. Glad to see the snails still on the walls! (wooden!). Good for all age groups.

Good location off the beaten track.Cabin size a little small, especially the cooking area.Hot tub was great.Staff friendly.Nick the ranger is what makes this place special. He was very knowledgable, spent loads of time explaining things and nothing was too much effort. I really recommend any of his activities, the story telling and survival sessions were great

Luxury log cabins with hot tubs not a hotel based on an old Gunpowder mill.A beautiful lake.Birds song and peace and quiet.Owls hoot at night.Just a perfect getaway.

Beautiful location for a forest holiday. We went off peak so the site was relatively quiet. Our cabin was warm and fairly well equipped though the sofas were uncomfortable being far too big. We took camping chairs with us for more comfortable seating. Staff were very helpful though quite a few items on the menu were unavailable which was frustrating.

Just had an incredible weekend at deerpark, so relaxing. The cabin was perfect we booked the wheelchair friendly cabin and it was exactly that. Staff were friendly, excellent and helpful,hot tub was checked twice daily, the staff made sure we knew how to work the hoist and asked if we would need help in emergencies. The cabin itself was spotless . As for the forest it was beautiful, peaceful and we had a Robin visiting us . We will be back .
