We went at 10:30am on a Saturday. Nice snacky food and coffee but not suitable for breakfast, which was disappointing - unless you count cake or sausage rolls. No hot food served until midday. They have a few vegan options.

Located in the Wimple Hall National Trust property, it is convenient for going for a good walk.Nice coffee but the choice of food and cake is limited (due to covid?). There is a nice outdoor seating. Like many NT properties in the prices are quite high. I'll be happy to go back.

We have been here before and had a very pleasant lunch with no problems, however on our recent visit (23/08/2023) there was a long queue and not much food to choose from, also the outside eating area was plagued by wasps.

A long queue waiting to order food, but fairly quickly delivered once it has been ordered by nice friendly staff. I suspect they are suffering, like a lot of businesses at the moment, by a lack of staff, as one of the tills wasn't open during their peak time. The food is really good, and although the outside terrace is nice, indoors it does feel a bit like a canteen.

Normally National Trust are good places to eat but we arrived at 2pm and they had run out of sandwiches and didn't seem to have any other hot food, such as one pot apart from sausage rolls. So it was sausage rolls and a piece of cake.

Staff there had difficulty with the sheer volume of visitors. However, it could have been better organised with a particular hold-up arising from the fact that orders for hot drinks were not being taken until arrival at the till. This entailed hanging around at that spot while the teas/coffees were made thereby holding up the queue.Food was good quality although, to my mind, some of the sandwiches on offer had an odd combination of ingredients. Cakes excellentThe place was clean and a team member was wiping down the tables while clearing away which was good to see.

Simple lunch time food that tastes great for a reasonable price.

Lovely setting, however hardly anything available for lunch at 12.30!! As you can see, one children’s sandwich and one ham & piccalilli sandwich remaining… What a disappointment!

The worst cup of coffee ever. They have 2 expensive Italian coffee machines not in use and only offer filter coffee, it was awful. My first visit to an NT site in 2 years it was very poor, why do they call it a restaurant? Sandwiches & sausage rolls only.
