A very kind man lifted the free oven into the car and was really helpful with information on installation. Wonderful to find such a kind and helpful person who has time for you. I thoroughly recommend this shop. David Lewis

Fixed a problem with my fridge/freezer as promised and then were kind enough to help me over the phone with another problem which I then resolved on my own. Always cheerful and helpful. Will definitely be using them again.

This is a con. They charge £30 to test the dyson. Then £77 to mend it. It didn’t work. Took back, said needed a new battery £88 would not charge for Labour. THEY ONLY TAKE CASH… The battery was £33 and comes with screwdriver and fitting instructions. They work on the basis that the repair will be almost the same as buying a new one, then you leave it. They repair it and sell second hand. AVOID.

A few months ago we had a fault with our fridge where it was freezing everything. The technician diagnosed the problem as a faulty temperature sensor but said he was unable to repair the fridge as the replacement was not listed as a spare by the manufacturer. This was disappointing - on the phone I had been told there were a few potential causes for the fault but that all should be repairable. I gave the fridge model number so surely if there was a problem with spare parts then that could have been identified before someone attended the property and before I was charged £79 for someone NOT to repair my fridge. It then took me about 10 minutes searching on the internet to find a repair video on youtube with a suggested replacement sensor. I then double checked this by enquiring with ukwhitegoods who suggested the same replacement might work (they could not guarantee it would work as it isn't a listed spare).Anyway, I ordered the sensor, fitted it myself and low and behold the fridge is fixed.Disappointing that the technician couldn't have done the same even if there was a risk that it wouldn't work. He could have let us know that but at least there would have been a chance of repair. So £79 for a fault diagnosis and £10 for a replacement sensor - cheaper than a replacement fridge/freezer but very disappointing that I had to do it myself.

Absolutely 100% service when needed. Met them working on a very expensive dishwasher and got their details. Few months on needed it for a Smeg range cooker. As their bio says one call and it was sorted. He arranged with the client a suitable time. Diagnosed the fault and returned to fix the issue. All at a very reasonable cost to me. Will have no hesitation in recommending them and already have. Will be using them again when and if needed

Very helpful and efficient service. So nice to see small, local companies like this still trading on the high street. A sizeable kitchen pond has been forming at the bottom of my refrigerator recently which stubbornly refused to drain away through the appropriate hole, despite vigorous 'rodding' with the short, plastic tool provided by the manufacturer. Using a defunct thermostat sensor wire, the experts from DAC were able to reach further down the drain pipe and dislodge the offending blockage. Suitably bribed with doubtful looking cups of tea and 4 small orange-flavoured KitKats, they were generous enough to leave me their sensor wire for any future similar problems!Strongly recommended. Many thanks to Mike and Dave and apologies for the quality of the tea!

Would not use this company again. We were originally very pleased with the initial service received from this company and glad that they were able to come and have a look at our fridge within a short time frame. We told them over the phone and during their visit that the problem with the fridge was that it was constantly making a buzzing noise, and often got very hot down one side. We were advised that the issue was with the thermostat and that we needed a replacement part - this would then stop the condenser from overworking and making a lot of noise. We followed their advice of regularly turning the fridge off to cool down the condenser (and hopefully make less noise). Unfortunately none of this helped the situation. We found that the newly fitted thermostat didn't seem to work as well and the fridge was not getting cold enough, additionally the fridge was still constantly making the loud buzzing noise. Replacing the thermostat has not fixed the issue of our noisy fridge, yet we are nearly £200 down (half the price of a new fridge). We have repeatedly try to contact the manager to at least discuss the fact that the fridge has not been fixed. We have had NO response from the manager despite ringing every day this week, they seem completely reluctant to engage with us on this matter, which is terrible customer service. We have however found the person we actually get through to, to be very apologetic and understanding, yet absolutely no communication from the manager, who we have been told will phone us back.We are very disappointed with the service received and particularly the unwillingness to even engage and merely have a conversation with us about our issue. We have since needed to purchase a new fridge, which we would have welcomed being advised to do right at the start.

Called out for washing repair, paid a £105 in cash (they only accept cash), no receipt given. Unable to repair machine, which is understandable, due to part. Advised that they would get back to me and let me know potential cost- they didn't.In the meantime I spoke to a friend who had had a similar experience with this company and she recommended another company, who have been very professional, helpful and at a fraction of the cost.Noted the response - I am now even more concerned, because a man called Dave came to my house on the 20th January 2023 pm, and took £105 in cash. I booked the appointment through your office phone number I spoke to a woman who quoted me the price and explained that I had to pay cash.If you need further information about this please check your appointments, and contact me
