The Atmos is amazing, but as per the management we have to book one week prior to get food since its a small kitchen.. So keep that in mind.

Lovely looking pub, inside and out. Great staff and most importantly, AMAZING food. Just had a lovely lunch from the specials board. 10/10.

If I could give this pub 0 stars I would, as i never actually got to step foot in the door. We had been out all evening in the rain and a big group of us walked home via the pub, sat outside with our dog as we were aware that dogs aren’t allowed inside only to be immediately confronted by the extremely rude owner who didn’t politely tell us that dogs weren’t allowed outside but that we should leave immediately. We then responded politely asking if there is a dog friendly area so we could just have one drink as we had a family member already ordering inside only to be told that we weren’t welcome and that we need to leave. Such a shame !!!

Utterly faultless service! Very friendly welcoming staff...nice place to be inside.Had the smoked duck starter, and roast lamb main. The 'slaw' with the duck I felt needed a little love. Pickling the carrots for example. Found I preferred the sauce dotted around the plate rather than the dip. Overall it was pleasant, and I would order it again.Lamb main was tasty! I personally would have liked a little more lamb....but thats me being greedy :)The yorky puds were amazingly huge and very crispy. Fantastic effort!Only one minor fail was an intense taste of cloves on the carrots. I personally found it a little peculiar, and somewhat dominating as a flavour.Overall its a lovely place to go. Would recommend....

We had a lovely meal here once with our little dogs and was looking forward to coming back as we will be in the area. Now it seems not only dog-unfriendly, but dog-hostile according to other reviews. Such a shame. The previous landlord was so nice and welcoming.

I feel like I want to keep this place secret, just for me. Food is delicious and good-sized portions. Service is impeccable. Staff is very careful and helpful, always there for you. Interior design is pleasant and is giving you a warm welcome feeling. The entry in the pub is spectacular, very unique, i would say. Great selection of wines, beers, and spirits. Food is proper restaurant food.I was impressed by the menu ... was printed with the current date of my visit. You have a nice garden in the back. Small but pretty. I can say i was impressed, and it is something when you visit so many pubs. Not many get to impressed me . I think I'm involved with this place. The place has a car park , i didn't know so I just parked on the street. And wine glasses are proper wine glasses. My wine ( sauvignon Blanc) came at the temperature as should be. Highly recommend this pub if you like quality. If you find my review helpful in any way just hit the like button.

A fantastic pub that consistency delivers good food and exceptional service. Their Sunday roasts are made of good quality ingredients, well seasoned meat and giant Yorkshire puddings… what is there not to like?!

I went here on a Saturday lunchtime. There were a number of customers but there was still plenty of space. For lunch I had their New Yorker burger. The pastrami was top notch and it had been cooked to perfection. It came with a side of fries which were a little salty for my taste, but not so much that it detracted from the meal. Waitresses were attentive and polite, making sure our cups were never empty and that we were taken care of. The services were fast and despite the menu being a little pricier than some other Northamptonshire pubs, provided excellent portion sizes that more than made up for it.Facilities were kept clean as well. Absolutely no complaints.Thank you Whyte Melville, I'm sure we'll be back.

Really quite disappointed with today. I drive past this place all the time and decided to finally go whilst family were in from America.. Service is not great, and the staff/landlords are quite rude. We asked for a sapphire martini, which I completely understand is not the regular.. but it was explained to us that it was a pricing thing. We volunteered to pay individually for each element and asked if it was possible? We were nothing but polite, but clearly this had gone down wrong as the young staff member came back down after asking with what I’m assuming to be her mum/landlord.. we were ignored initially, whilst they served another customer.. before being very rudely/abruptly told the martini request was a no. We were nothing but polite and would’ve completely understood if they had just said no. We try to support small businesses, but after this point it was very obvious we were not welcome. We weren’t asked if we wanted another drink, and so we quickly left. Maybe it was a culture difference, but on this occasion it was a miss. A more welcoming reception is absolutely needing work on.Didn’t eat, so reason for 2 stars, not 1.
