Was looking forward to coffee cake in the terrace. and a chat on a Wednesday afternoon.Decor nice beautiful buildingWas served by the manager , eventually when he decided to notice us standing h in front of him!Cake yummy coffee good. However on the lower floor a group were using a machine to inflate balloons. Very noisy machine and the balloons kept bursting. It was so loud we couldn’t continue our chat without shouting and anticipating another loud bang.We eventually mentioned this to another member of staff as the manager had left for the day. She was very sympathetic but could not t offer a refund or anything as the rolls were off the owner had left for the day and the cafe was not closed - to be fair to her she did all she could.This sounds like a petty complaint but it really was so loud we had to shout to have a conversation not a good atmosphere for a quiet relaxed coffee.I would say if you’re not ready to open don’t open. If there’s an event prepare outside of opening g hours or at least make customers aware beforehand.Has put us off returning.We left and had a nice quiet coffee at the competition opposite.

Brilliant staff and atmosphere. Went on a Friday and the staff did an excellent job of tending to us despite how busy it was. Would definitely recommend

Wife and I went in on a Saturday evening for a boogie without idiot kids as suggested by a doorman in Oxford Street..we got that alright..A surreal experience...did I walk out feeling like a young Harry potter or an even older victor meldrew.?..it's been two weeks now, and I still can't make up my mind..weird..So...yeah, it's memorable...and yeah, this is a much older clientele..I will be back.. though not sure why..Beware..it's only open until 11pm.And the music, although good, suffers from being played in what is essentially a stone walled, high ceilinged building with zero soft furnishings..therefore a very echoey sound..if like me, you are a soundey, it is an issue...

Thank you Whiskey Blue! Thank you, more than we can say, for your hospitality, and professionalism!! You were such a huge part in making our family/friends event so special. Everything was perfect and we could not have chosen a better place nor more wonderful people! Particular thanks to Shane who was there throughout and could not have been more helpful.The live music through the evening was superb and such a great atmosphere!

Excellent tasty cocktails, just a shame they don't have more Whiskey drinks available. They have comfortable seating and it is a decent place to stop for a chat and cocktail.

Went here for live music, enjoyed the band but I thought the interior of the new building doesn't have the same vibe as the old one. The crowd feels much older and the tiled floor doesn't help, could do with a carpet or two. The marg was great though.

Now closed where I took these photos and moved to a new location in the city at the bottom of the Hight Street opposite the Hollyrood Church.I had to try this new place. Located at the top of London Road opposite the Law Court. I’m really impressed by the quality of decor, the staff and the lunch.For lunch, I had a Tuna mayonnaise granary bread baguette with red onion and rocket salad. It was really nice.I’m very much looking forward to bringing some friends back for an evening with some live music.

Newest addition to London road. This is a beautiful bar with a great atmosphere. They regularly have live music and 2-1 cocktails. The only downside is that the signature cocktail menu doesn't actually have any whiskey cocktails.

Came here for a toastie over lunch. Great atmosphere and I imagine it’ll be very cool at nights. Owner and team are super friendly and the food is reasonably priced. First visit to Southampton and will be back to check out this place at night!
