MONEY MATTERS:I contacted Money Matters, a branch of the Housing Advice center. The receptionists were kind and helpful. After taking details I was given a call back, within an hour!I missed the call but when I phoned back I was put straight through to Lucy"She was incredibly helpful

Not helpfulThey refuse 90% of people who come in HAC ,what the point of sitting there for nothing. They refused lots of single ladies who didn't anywhere to stay and i heared from many visitors that there is a very not helpful advisor who refused people easily.if u can't help people just close the doors and dont waste the people's time.

Absolutely useless, they drag things on for so long and they're service is has not helped my family at all. Were currently at crisis point and have done very little to help. I'd advice going to other services if you can don't rely on these. Try shelter or citizens advice.

I'm a british born citizen,I've always had a job,a hime, payed my taxes etc. Due to personal issues and deaths in the family my life went downhill, fast. I contacted them weeks before i knew I'd be homeless and they reasurred me not to worry and come to them when it happened and they'd place me somewhere. Well today was that day,i went and a senior member of staff told they couldn't place me and I'd have to sleep in the park from now on. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING AND DISGRACEFUL.The people are only good for adjusting your band for bidding on properties. No wonder so many people end up on the street and turn to crime, guess I'll soon find out. How am i supposed to explain to my 3 year old son. USELESS
