If there were a worse rating I would have chosen it. Absolutely appalling service, no consideration for people's dignity and the word 'confidential' seems to be completely alien to them. When I brought the numerous errors to their attention they were incredibly dismissive and acted like I was at fault. Please don't use this company, they're quick to step on their client to cover their mistakes and their arrogance is matched only by their incompetence.

Cannot thank all the staff at both offices, especially Claire O'Donnell and her team at the Derby office.They were faultless in sorting my case and went above and beyond to help and get a successful outcome for me.Don't think they realise just how much difference they make to people's lives.Thank you all.

To make a review on this site I had to put one star but reality is they deserve no stars.My son approached this company for a family matter. From day one he was looked as a no hope to win through court. A letter of proof was given over to David about the domestic violence that he endured and was told anyone could have written that so he wouldn't accept it.We paid for letters that where really a waste of time. Turned up to one child arrangement meeting and sat vacant. Eventually I contacted Rothersharp. The letter of proof was accepted his new solicitor was so shocked that it wasn't accepted by David.. This led to him getting full legal aid to fight through court for his daughter and against all lies that his ex put against him. Our evidence was mass.He won in court 30th November 2018 a date we will never forget. Yesterday he received his child arrangement order 50/50 and child lives with both parents. If your looking for a solicitor for these matters I recommend look at no one else than Rotherer sharp at the lace market. The help and support is 100% and treat with such kindness and as a human being.

Even with 2 months to prepare, god knows how much evidence I provided in my favour, they were rarely in contact with me and ignored my evidence. In court, my solicitor, David was vacant throughout, walked past me countess times trying to find me (I was in the same spot waiting for him), tried to prolong events to get another unnecessary court hearing and even kindly" gave advice to my opponent. The secretary has the decorum and manners of an angry teenager and totally lacks empathy

Just sold and purchased using Julie Buckland at Wykes. Julie is a pleasure to deal with and always provides sound advice and reassurance. Would highly recommend her for any conveyancing needs!

Dreadful company. Please do not use. I used them for my divorce and was given such bad advice I was taken to court regarding access arrangements that they hadn't dealt with. Cost me so much more to sort. I used a fantastic solicitor though who was worth every penny wish I'd used them in first instance. Left me in a huge amount of debt.

Excellent conveyancing service from Julie Buckland. We had a very tight deadline to buy before our mortgage offer expired (transferred from another sale that had fallen through). Julie battled with Strike (the buyers' conveyancing and estate agent) and got us to completion within 6 weeks at a reasonable price. Would recommend for sure.

This solicitors deserve no stars. I don't even think they are qualified to call themselves solicitors. I had a letter that my GP signed that states I did receive abuse. But these people said that it was not usable for legal aid. All this solicitor" wanted to do was take as much money as he could. I am shocked that they actually have the right to call themselves solicitors.I was going through a divorce and child arrangements. As all that I wanted was to have shared care for my daughter and to have a divorce.I found a new solicitors to go to and that the latter from my GP that states that I did receive abuse and I got legal aid. Rothera Sharp are the solicitors that I moved to and they were 10000% more respectful and understanding. Clearly these wykes odonnell williams "solicitors" couldn't step up to the mark as Rothera Sharp managed to get me through my divorce and get me a shared care order signed by the courts.All that I will say now is... DO NOT GO WITH THESE PEOPLE!!"
