You, Me and Baby - Hypnobirthing in Cardiff

My husband and I recently attended the hypnobirhting course with Jenny. It was a fantastic course which we would highly recommend. Jenny helped us to understand the process and stages of labour, which has made me feel so much more prepared and less fearful of labour, whatever course it takes. I found the practical tools and techniques which Jenny taught us really helpful, and my husband also found is really useful knowing what he could practically do during labour to support me. Jenny was extremely knowledge and friendly. After the course I feel so much calmer about what lays ahead, to the extent that I am actually now looking forward to labour and cannot wait to calmly welcome my baby to the world!

Amazing, with my second child I had severe anxiety about labour and birth, I couldnt sleep and I could barely eat, and my consultant recommended hypnobirthing. I found Jenny on facebook and it was the best thing I did. My birth experience with my second child was so much better and quicker than that of my first that I am sure is down to the course I did with Jenny that prepared me for it. I recommend her to anyone I know that gets pregnant. Jenny came to my house to do a private session with me and my husband as I couldnt make it to her class and she even gave me a book and CD's to use after she'd gone. Couldn't recommend her higher!

After my first birth, I've been anxious about the idea of going through labour again. Jenny was brilliant, she was so friendly and informative and has given me so many tips to help relax and aim for a positive experience with the birth. My partner, who hasn't experienced this before, also feels much more prepared and we're both really excited to welcome our new baby with no fear of the process anymore. I absolutely loved the course and highly reccomend it. I understand the process of labour so much better which has made me less fearful, there was some really practical tips that I will be no doubt using in my birth. Unlike the birth class I did in preperation for my first child, I felt that You Me and Baby offered support in cases where things dont go quite to plan. This was really important to me.I have been given a great hand out and audio files. Also, my husband got a lot out of the course. Thanks again

Definitely the best mum and baby yoga I've tried in Cardiff!Reasons:-Jenny knows her yoga stuff!-Jenny is an experienced, knowledgeable, and calming teacher.-Small class sizes make it feel more personal. (It's not just about getting as much money as possible by cramming as many people into the space as possible, which sadly can be the case with yoga groups in Cardiff.)-Jenny is on hand to help with baby during the class so you can get the most out of it.-Jenny encourages everyone to participate and there's a chance to chat and develop relationships with other mums.-You come away feeling truly relaxed, even when baby has been awake the whole time!-The venue is great and has excellent facilities.Thanks Jenny.

Jenny's hypnobirthing course was a fantastic mix of theory and practice and set within a supportive and relaxed atmosphere that encouraged maximum interaction from participants. Jenny has an informative yet compassionate and supportive style that helped me get the most out of the course. I now understand the physiology of birth to a greater degree (even though I felt quite knowledgeable about this already- I still learnt lots more), and the hypnobirthing practices were so useful. I now feel more confident about my ability to manage birth (after a very traumatic first experience) and will be able to enter into it with less anxiety and more empowerment. Thank you Jenny xx

I recently attended Jenny's hypnobirthing course Sat 8th April 2017 with my fiancé. It was a fantastic course with a great mix of practical & theoretical advice, relaxation sessions and interactive activities. We met like minded couples and I was able to get my partner on board with the birth I want for our baby. His main fears are and have been mine and the baby's safety. But this isn't a new thing" or a "fad" women have been birthing their babies in this way for thousands of years. Yet we are bombarded with naysayers and negative birth stories as soon as we announce our pregnancies. This course will enable you to make the right choices for you and your baby by going through the physiology of birth and showing you techniques that you can use in labour.Jenny is warm

We attended YouMeandBaby's ’Hypnobirthing for Couples’ group course and were incredibly impressed by Jenny's knowledge and delivery.Having already completed the NCT Signature course, this was the perfect follow on session; touching on what we’ve previously covered as a refresher, but then going on to cover hypnobirthing in a comprehensive manner – both informatively and through a series of written and practical exercises. Jenny is incredibly friendly and made everyone in the group feel at ease, answering all our questions with expertise.As first time parents, we found the day so helpful and feel far more prepared and informed ahead of our baby’s forthcoming birth. We both highly recommend Jenny and her course, and would not hesitate to attend another of her sessions.

I took my first ever pregnancy yoga class with ‘You, Me & Baby’ following a recommendation from a friend.The yoga course provided great support during my pregnancy with valuable insights & learnings to take away.Jenny is a knowledgeable, patient and inspiring teacher with a real passion for all aspects of pregnancy. Jenny uses soothing words and tones during the class which, really helped me to take time out from the busy outside world.From the moment you walk into the class, you can feel very peaceful and relaxed. Thanks to Jenny's hypno birthing course I had a great calm birth. My main concern was that I would panic as soon as I went into labour but thanks to Jenny's help I remained calm and had the water birth I'd planned. Also attended Jenny's relaxation classes which were a great way to unwind and connect with my growing bump.
