They are a traditional Sheffield institution, run by the most friendly and kind ladies. Their version of croissants on Saturday is worth a try and they do classic bread - at a very good value for money. I really like this shop, I just wish they would do more sourdough - I would come more often!

Unfortunately I have tried 3 different desserts from here and I really don't think they are any different from when I had them at age 6. They taste stale, boring, tight on chocolate or cream and i don't know if it's my imagination but they taste like they are in the same oven as the meat products. Really un enjoyable. Bleugh! Come on turners, start turning out some new deserts that turn heads!

We are sitting on a field of victory enjoying a few well-earned comforts. The salted pork sandwich is particularly good!Lovely little bakery. Bought a delectable pork sandwich. And 4 scones 1 day(?) old for £1.75! Which, honestly, tasted better than most fresh scones we had so far. The loaf of bread was giant… I might just eat some more right now with butter.

Sandwiches are really nice, I've never had an issue with them although sadly, most bakers these days, serve smaller and smaller bread cakes?? Having said that, Turner's is more reasonable on price, when compared with others in Nether Edge. The pasties are beautiful BUT as others have said their cakes are VERY disappointing! They are very baige and cheap looking, and taste mass produced.The lemon cake and vanilla slice are the only decent ones.

The worst hot roast pork sandwich I've ever had! So salty i couldn't eat it. More fat than meat, no crackling or stuffing whatsoever and not even bothered calving it, just put a slab of fatty meat in a roll! Other sandwiches ordered were also very poor and they also forgot various items. Will not be ordering from Turner's again.

I have been multiple times. Sometimes it's nice but most times the bread is hard. Put egg on sandwich when I asked them not to (good job I don't have an allergy). Most cakes I have tried are average or horrible. Today my cake had hard PLASTIC inside it. Only reason I go is because it's a local store to my work.
