Always a good friendly shop to go too but seems the shelf spaces are getting more and more empty

It's a branch of Boyes! Not much to be said really. Well stocked at cheap prices. Cheery polite staff. Would visit again for any basic DIY, cleaning or chemist product's (not prescriptions). Their clothing isn't that bid at all these days, verging on fashionable!. Would visit again!

So much selection and ALL at amazing cheap prices. I asked a query on their Facebook page of the best stores (as my mam really missed going in lockdowns and wanted to tour every single one!). Stores described as top stores for our tour include Scarborough, Beverley, Hessle Road in Hull and Darlington. For lovely fabric departments Billingham, Acomb in York, Grantham. 2 down ! Darlington is an absolute gem!

Smaller than other boyes stores but they still had a huge range of products at fantastic prices. Honestly, if if boyes don't sell it, I don't think you need it. Easy to access with a good floor plan.

Always a good range of stock on the shelves and usually very clean and tidy. Friendly staff and no queue.Visited again at the weekend. The shelves were full. They do sell everything. Popped in for bias binding in haberdashery and double sided tape in the stationary department. Love the range of home furnishings too!

I went here a little while back to get some fabrics and sewing items. It was my first visit and It was a surprise to see the vast selection of items here. They had a good range of home / toiletry items so I ended up spending money on that. The sewing department though wasn't as good as the one in town. They did have some specialist fabrics such as Harry Potter - if that's your thing. It's not my thing so I didn't buy them. They also only had regular zippers so no double zips or any specialist ones. The pricing for this fabric section seemed expensive so I didn't get anything. Good for everything else though! You'll have to park across the road as there is no where to park (in the Morrisons shop car park) and then walk. You need to walk a little further than you think because the road is fenced off so it's a bit of a walk around rather than just crossing the road.Will go back for other items such as stationary and toiletries, but not fabrics. Though it may suit your needs.

Great store with loads of bargain brands and friendly staff

This place has the most dynamic range of stock. Great place if you are looking for something that other shops do not have. I was.looking for coffee filters. They had them! Amazing staff so friendly and helpful. Well done Boys, keep up the good work. Thankyou

We love coming here for the haberdashery! Plenty of fabrics and sewing things on offer! It’s especially good when you need to make things for kids’ fancy dress costumes! They also have a good selection of toiletries and dog treats which we come here for!! Great location and very competitive prices
