Newton’s family home. Lovely to visit the apple tree and the rooms where he began to experiment with light and was inspired to arrive at a universal law of gravitation which explained the motion of the planets in a new and fundamental different and intuitively correct way. Had the feeling of being privileged to be in a special place.

A small, cramped cafe in the Woolsthorpe Manor National Trust property. The cafe is housed in one end of an outbuilding devoted mainly to interactive games based on Isaac Newton's scientific discoveries. The cafe is inadequate when the property is busy. Not only is it extremely cramped with totally inadequate seating if the weather isn't warm and dry, but the volunteers manning it can get swamped and the service becomes very slow. It has to be added that on a nice summer day there is then plenty of seating outside in the farmyard.

Lovely historic house. Quite small so best to take a tour to get the most out of it. Especially suited to science/engineering fans as the home of Newton.

Had a wonderful time. Entertaining and informative. The interactive science activities and experiments had the children enthralled. We had a look around the house were Sir Isaac Newton wss born and lived. We also got to see the famous tree. The staff were helpful and engaging which made the experience more personal. Well worth the visit and not too far from the A1M. The cafe serves a range of cakes, sandwiches, soup, pasties, sausage rolls, drinks and snacks. we thoroughly recommend the whole experience. well done national trust.

Woolsthorpe Manor great day out. Very informative volunteers. The food was great. Seating inside and outside. Activities suitable for old and young to enjoy and discover science in a fun way.

We were a mixed party (two adults, two 3 year olds, 9 year old and 12 year old) and didn't stay too long as two littlest ones were fidgety and keen to just keep moving. Not much going for their age group, though did spot a playpark just down from car park. We all sat through a short film about Sir Isaac Newton and discovery centre held the girls attention for a bit bit generally enjoyed by the older kids. Have vowed to return when little ones return to nursery to do some 'learning'. Had a generally lovely feel about the site, definately reccomend x

Nice cafe. Compact, but you usually get a seat. In the same room as the activities so the kids can go and entertain themselves. Usually slightly over priced national trust prices. Can get a bit noisy in there.

Brilliant, changed so much in 30 years. Science and Understanding of the principles that Issac Newton. Set out in an out building a full range of experiments, with staff to guide you through the ideas. This was great fun for my daughter. Then you also have the family home of Issac Newton and the history of his life.
