Samsara tattoo parlour

I got my tattoos done by Lucy at Samsara. She was so gentle and welcoming and listened to all my little adjustments. These were my first tattoos and I was not nervous at all. She was so sweet! The rest of the team were lovely too. I’m from Australia but if I was a local I would definitely come back here!!

Good bits:Comfortable and chilled atmosphere.Great decor.Quality of tattoo.Drink offered and provided.Friendly.Bad bits:Limited conversation/no update on how tattoo is going which can breed anxiety for some people.Overall:Good experience, would recommend.

Firstly Lucy is very very lovely, polite, professional, calming and easy to be around. She is a very talented artist who takes pride in her work. She took her time with us, which was great as we were both nervous. Our tattoos are brilliant and are healing really well. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I had such a great experience! I booked my first tattoo with Lucy. The vibes in the studio are amazing, I felt comfortable, and everyone was super nice. I immediately loved Lucy’s design and the final result is fantastic. They will definitely see me again.

I booked a session with Jez for a flash design - fine line tattoo.From my initial enquiry with Becky (manager) to confirmation of appointment was very straightforward and accommodating. She makes the process seamless and is wonderfully re assuring.The location in Hackney is easy to reach and is a beautiful setting. It is like being in a stylish drawing room then shop outlet - which may tattoo parlours are.It is clear that considerable thought and design has been applied to the interior which leads wonderfully into how Jez approaches his work and aesthetic.His skill, and creativity is phenomenal.My whole session whizzed path with lots of interesting conversation and laughter.If you what to be tattooed with positive energy and intention book Jez.

Welcoming, warm and safe space. Loved spending time at Samsara! Becky is so kind and helpful, checking whether we needed anything before, during and after the tattoo. Jezz is an amazing artist and made me feel comfortable throughout, great tattoo experience! They only use vegan ink and they used their flash day to donate to a local charity! Would highly recommend!

Had the most amazing first tattoo experience at Samsara! The venue itself is so relaxing and light. When you go it makes you feel at ease and they are very friendly offering you drinks etc. for my first two tattoos I had Lucy as my artist as I saw her fine line work on Instagram. She was great and making sure I had the exact right placements and considered how the shape would change as my body moves. Her work was even more stunning than I thought and it was nice to chat throughout the experience. I went back a few weeks for my touch ups which was helpful to have. Would highly recommend samsara and Lucy to anyone but especially for first tattoos. I’m sure I’ll be back. :)

I had a lovely experience with Lucy at Samsara. She was really considerate when it came to designing the tattoo bearing in mind exactly what I had wanted. This was my first tattoo and she eased my nerves at the appointment and I was really happy with how it turned out.
