LMtutoring has tutored both of my children for the 11 plus, Upton and St Anselm’s exams. Both children passed all of the exams that they took. The children enjoyed the sessions. Homework was set each week and their progress monitored by Lisa throughout the year. Lisa was always available for questions and a WhatsApp group was a great support for me as a parent. I felt that the children were fully prepared when it came to sitting the exam, as Lisa provided good exam techniques. Mock tests were available throughout the year.Lisa is passionate about learning and monitored areas of concern. Highly recommend.

Our daughter enjoyed going to her tutor lessons every week because she became friends with Lisa and enjoyed learning. My 9 year old son received maths tutoring during lockdown from Lisa. He really enjoyed the sessions and covered some material not yet covered in class. On giving him questions a few days later he had retained everything learned and was confident in his answers. Highly recommend Lisa for her patience and experience.

The classroom session environment and the extra mock exams Lisa provides really benefited our son and really prepared him for the exams. The amount of homework was always manageable and Lisa was always on hand to provide assistance when needed. Regular feedback was great, areas to focus on were discussed frequently. Lisa also ran additional sessions when it was needed, plus some mock exams to get him used to the test environment. Keeping the group quite small allowed our son to get the full benefit of Lisa’s vast experience. I would totally recommend Lisa for tutoring; she tutored our daughter for her 11+ exam and I’m sure she could not have got through it without these extra lessons. The work she covers with the children, together with the mock exams Lisa organises under the exam conditions, and the personal touch she provides when extra help may be needed , gives them the knowledge and experience they need to be able to take and pass the exam confidently .. my daughter passed and can’t wait for her next school !
