Bad company to work for. Think they own you. Say no they sack you. Security is just a joke. Not got a clue on what to do. Management a joke. HR is owners daughter. Avoid working for this company. You will regret it. What you read on there website is just lies. They dont care about employees wellbeing they would rather sack you.

Armstrong's are an excellent company with strong values. Daniel is super lovely. He gave us a tour of the yard and the stone shed. They do some incredible stuff with stone from fireplaces to cut stone signs. Take a look on their website at the incredible work they do. You can even get concrete or aggregate from there too!

The Public Footpath of the Road next to the security hut Does your security own this path ? because they have no right coming out and moaning at who can and can't use that path... Stored anymore waste in your Quarry lately ?

Rubbish company, zero respect for drivers. They have 'Don' or 'Dom' or whatever he's called watching you in the yard, waiting to go brown-nosing and grass you up for the smallest of discrepancies. And tacho hours are treated as theirs as oppose to yours, so you could be driving every other Saturday and they EXPECT it. AVOID.

Class 2 HGV driver - Rude and aggressive management who don’t care about employee wellbeing, constant revolving door policy. Trucks are dated, dirty and poorly maintained. Long long hours, wages are never paid correctly, the job is very repetitive. Some of the lads are ok the others are lazy and getaway with doing nothing. Wouldn’t recommend!
