I worshipped with this congregation for four months while I was studying in London. The preaching was very Bible-based and true to Reformed doctrine. The Congregation itself is made up of sweet, hospitable Christian people. By the time I left, I felt like a part of the LCPC family. Even if you are in London for a weekend, try to visit.

Biblical teaching of the gospel, church members living their faith out. Highly recommended! It gives you a great sense of feeling at home, safe, and enjoyment. Visitors are so warmly welcomed!

This is a wonderful church. From the well placed stained glass featuring the windows to the impressive fellowship and courtesy presented by the members of this congregation. It is a small church ruled by the Free Church of Scotland and it preserves the most sound doctrine and zeal for the love of Scriptures. The service is really peaceful, always well preached (at this time by the exciting and young Reverend Andy Pearson) and there is always a relaxed and casual coffee after the service. The hymns are from the Scottish Psalms and they are sung in a unison way. People care for each other and there is a special attention with visitors. Just wonderful! I totally recommend it.

Have been attending here for 5 weeks now, morning and evening, and am in love with it, both the service and the congregation. Incredibly bibliocentric and christocentric preaching. Andy, the pastor, has that beautiful balance between knowing and loving rock solid theology. It's so easy, especially at reformed churches, for the preaching to touch only the mind and not the affections. This does both. Any visitor will receive a warm, heartfelt welcome.

We were looking for a reformed church in London, and God showed us LCPC. Following strictly the Bible and the truly gospel message, it's a warm and familiar church, as we are used to at our brazilian church - Igreja Presbiteriana do Morumbi. Many people greeted us, and made we feel at home, as part of the christian family all over the world.Rev Andy is clearly a man of God, his sermons are deep and wise, as only a blessed priest can do, as per God's grace. We praise the Lord for this church! God bless !!

The new minister is Andrew Pearson, but to be a little more with it to the younger generation he calls himself Andy Pearson. In keeping with his 'Andy' persona, he preached in a very laddish, lightweight and jokey style. I was expecting a football joke at any minute. You can see that humour rather than gravitas is now a feature of the preaching style at this church. He preached on Matthew 25, a very serious chapter on the final judgment. He began by asking us what our opinion was on the the bible's teaching about a final day of judgment. I had to stop myself shouting out: 'It does not matter what our opinion is about what the bible teaches. It's not for us to sit in judgement over God's word, but for God's word to sit in judgment over us!' If you are at all used to a serious, sober, grave style of ministry, in keeping with the puritans such as Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones, you will find it hard to sit under this ministry. Nor did I find it a particularly friendly church, but that was probably because I was not a young, me centred, it's all happening kind of person that this church seems to attract.

We attended this church on April 27, 2015 with a group of 8 of us (4 of us are members of the Canadian Reformed Church in Langley B.C. (Canada), and the other 4 of us are members of the American Reformed Church in Lynden, WA (USA)). We had looked up the Free Church of Scotland earlier, and knew that we wanted to attend this church when we were in London. We attended the morning and evening services, and were so glad that we found this congregation. The preaching (by Rev. Andrew Pearson) was excellent - a clear and faithful exegesis of Scripture in both sermons. The singing was beautiful (some tunes we knew, but others we didn't). After each service, we were shown warm Christian hospitality by the congregation. We were invited to join them for coffee and cake after the service, and felt right at home. It was a good reminder for each of us just how important it is to welcome guests in your midst, and how nice it is to be the recipient of a warm welcome. There were lots of kids and young families around..... a sure sign of a vibrant congregation. We were glad to experience Christian fellowship with fellow believers so far from our own homes, and can recommend this church wholeheartedly.
