Arrived last night, for one 1 night, man that is running it was so enthusiastic to open gate that it took him 10 minutes, took money & was gone, didn’t tell us we’re toilets shower block was or wash up, so had a look around, omg, shower drains had mould growing over it, toilet roll dispenser was hanging off wall, large tiles was of walls with plaster over the floor, wash up area, plaster peeling off walls, carpet runner by sinks was filthy, a lady was washing her clothes in the wash up sink omg, the place was awful, went for a walk with my 2 dachshund dogs, & was told by this same block that runs it that I was not allowed in that bit as it was for the private people that live there, yet no signs, made to feel unwelcome from the minute we arrived if I could put the pictures on hear for everyone to see but it won’t let me

This was a last minute booking but was pleased at how lovely the facilities were. Its a developing site with lovely statics at one end and dedicated spots for non/electric spots at the other. Gate controlled access and a welcome by the site crew when you arrive.

Very nice. Owners welcoming and helpful. We were on the adjacent private field apparently due to over booking which was a god send as the main field was shoulder to shoulder and not my idea of fun. Lost stars due only to the shower/toilet blocks. Whilst newly refurbished there were no sanitary bins in the ladies and the single shower is not fit for use being a, located 8n the disabled toilet and b, randomly switching from ice cold to scalding hot which was just dangerous for the kids and finally it was nothing more than a dribble. Lovely place over all though for a quick wknd trip.

Lovely little place. Quiet, more aimed at the taking it easy campers! Caters for caravans camper vans and tents. We was only there for the night as it was pants weather. Nice clean toilet block. Small site there was about 20 campers on the weekend we was there. Secure gates and a lovely gentleman keeping watch over stuff. Would defiantly go again. The reason for no 5 star (for me ) is there is no play area for the kids. Not much for them to do. I'm sure other people with no kids would give it 5 star tho. Had electric too

Very nice child friendly campsite. We had complete piece of mind for our little ones while they were playing as the site has a single entry with a large electric gate. The ladies toilets/shower room had just opened on the day of our arrival which my wife said were lovely. There was always hot water due to the site having a very large hot water cylinder so the showers never ran hot then cold. The electricity points were 32amps so power tripping off was never an issue. The site is family orientated so was quiet enough on a night for our children to go to sleep. The owners All were very friendly and couldnt help enough. All in all, an excellent site on the doorstep of Doncaster. We will definitely visit again soon and highly recommend this to others.

I am staying here for a week, arrived yesterday late and was welcomed by staff at the gate who helped us get our caravan positioned and set up for the night. They gave me a card for a 10% discount at the pilgrim fathers pub(separately reviewed). The site is dog friendly as long as said dog is on a lead or a ground stakes chain. power and water are provided with your stay. i recommend it if you need somewhere to stay for a few nights in or around Scrooby. The local area isnt flush with places to eat though, despite being down the road near Pilgrim Fathers pub(separately reviewed.)
