Townley Grammar School

In sixth form and it was the worst experience of my life, please don't go.

This school could definitely be better. For one, they could employ better teachers, specifically in the science block there is a teacher who doesn't teach. All they do is talk about their life experiences instead of the work. They also forget to mark people's work very often. The school itself needs to loosen up on school uniform. Other than that the school is diverse and welcoming to all cultures and religions. It does a lot of charity work. Overall it's ok.Edit: I was trying to be very nice. I do genuinely believe there are good teachers at this school but quite a few of them aren't good. I struggle in subjects that I didn't struggle with when I didn't have specific teachers. There is a mountain load of stress place upon me. Some teachers make tests (just end of topic ones)out to be the dealbreaker in life and if you don't do remarkably well at them you have no future" or "you won't succeed in life" because of one test? It seems quite extreme. The uniform thing I've gotten used to so that's the least of my problems. They also brush over many problems which is not very nice but what can we do? I have never been so anxious in my life. This school has placed a cloud over me that has made me tired

This school is horrible, all they do is nag nag about school uniform like that will put your education at a disadvantage.Food is pricey and terrible.Teachers are not the best either.

Excellent school for girls love everything about this school my girls are there and are always busy with school work.

I've been in this school for a few years and I would NOT recommend. you barely learn anything since the teachers move onto different topics every lesson, they give you sanctions for things as little as having the wrong pe kit or forgetting your book. The food there is literally HORIBBLE and over priced (some of the drinks are served expired too). And the teachers cannot control a noisy classroom. Overall, its a terrible school with no good support and you shouldn't go if you want to stay happy.

The skls not even all dat styll, u can flunk most lessons if u wanna, they paint themselves as a well organised skl for the public but rlly is juss dead icel.U can get away w doing wat u want in class and most teachers can't even control us

Students at this school will recieve an excellent education. My friends go to this school and they love it!

A delightful school full of wonderful teachers that assist children as much as they can and well behaved students

Townley Townley Townley is one of the best schools in the uk but they lie it's in my year 8 i loved it but just don't do anything bad don't lose your mental health there but many people do lie Townley is honesty great
