Only supermarket that guards it carrier bags, by the staff walking around holding them. You have to request a Carrier bag, this can take 5 mins because there isn't enough staff for volume of customers. They treat customers like children. Even scanning the carrier bag for you!!I've started a social media page regarding this. Please like and follow. We should stop using this place..

Went there Friday.Petrol - you have to drive up to a window and lean out to pay - rubbish system and this time went to the wrong pump - Pay at the pump. other supermarkets have an option button to pay at kiosk - not here. went to Tesco instead.In the store: the attendants at self service now have to carry a supply of carrier bags on their arm - apparently people have been stealing them. Pathetic - after an hour or so they will have sore arm, be taking time off sick, and hopefully sue their greedy bosses for the injury.Raita: aren't you supposed to chop the cucumber ??Chapatti: £1.60 for 2 !!!! Not thin enough - more like Nan and not proper chapatti flour.

Shocking customer service first time here,went to self checkout as hardly any checkouts open,no bags so said excuse me to scan and go person,before I could ask for a bag( which were behind her, in a cupboard) I was told I'm on scan and go you have to wait for someone to come I said I just need a bag hand up again and told that someone will turn up with a bag. I don't get why bags aren't readily available like the ones where we live...won't be going back to this one amd if it happens at ours I wont be going there either! Don't bother with your standard response as it looks like it's the same drivel to every negative review. Unless you want to explain why bags aren't available but I doubt you will!

Wow just wow. Living in small village with few facilities in local town this place offers everything you need under one roof. Great clothing upstairs at reasonable prices.

I appreciate that geniuses dont work at Asda but how hard is it to pick correct orders? Twice in a row now the same thing ordered and the plebeians picked a fifth of the amount ordered. Complete joke of a store, order now cancelled. You just lost a customer as I'll never shop with you cretins again!

ASDA since being taken over is rubbish! Feel sorry for the employees who must know the writing is in the wall for this once excellent business currently being destroyed.Today 8 tills in place yet only 2 open despite long queues of angry customers, that is not good customer service for this who don’t want to self-scan!

Shockingly bad here these days. Many shelves empty and have been for weeks. Never any chicken hardly. This evening there was literally no bags of salad. Out of date items on some shelves such as yogurts (one was 3 days out!). The floors in some areas where filthy. Shelves a mess. Never any staff about. Half of them look miserable. Not enough staff on self service checkouts. I could go on... But I won't.

A nice supermarket.Very good bus connections with a very small interchange.Very large carpark with a fuel station and a collection area for on line orders you want to collect.Pleasingly nice wide isles in the store usual staples of the modern supermarket are on site including a bakery.I am not too keen on the small trolleys, wondered if they were for children at first

Kids can’t complete the purchase at the Scan & Go at tills, It’s apparently in the terms and conditions that nobody reads, So if you have a kid that likes using the Scan as you Shop, Don’t come here, In every single other shop, It’s not a problem, But here it’s like it’s some sort of crime.

So I picked some snack this morning just to save time from buying snack at lunch time. I sat to have the snack-caramel biscuits as they called it and I just took a bite. The taste wasn't so good so I looked at the date and realised it was due 15/11. I rushed back to try and return it...the person I met took me to customer service. In my mind I thought when you return out of date item the first option is to ask you to pick another one. No form of apology as per time wasted.Well I went to customer service and got told they don't accept out of date items without receipt. I said I wasn't thinking the item on the shelf will be out of date. This is not a cloth where you keep your receipts incase they don't fit. I shower the debit as I paid with my card, they said I can't get refund without receipt. The next person said another option is to put icard a gift card . I was told is policy..and am like what if I don't want to shop here? They said that's policy.I refused the gift card cos you can't give me conditions on how to shop or spend.I guess I trusted ASDA so much and didn't bother checking the date.Ensure to check the date on edible items cos they don't just care...
