Farrow & Ball Wilmslow Showroom

Great experience at F&B Wilmslow. We were looking for advise on complimentary colours for our hallway. Natalie helped us to select the colours and the finishes and also advised on the best primers. We’ve been trying to agree on colours for the hallway for months and Natalie was really patient and helpful and we left very satisfied with what the suggestions she made. We had a slight hiccup with one colour which wasn’t in stock - the delivery hadn’t gone through properly but this was quickly rectified over the phone. Great service all round, we’ll be back for the next project and hopefully Natalie will be free to help us then too. Thank you

A bit disappointed. I bought 3 matchpots a few days ago to match a grey wall colour from F&B. I though only needed 2 but it was 3 for 2 so I bought 2 of the same shade and one of another. The assistant helpfully said that if I wanted to change an unused one in the case that I had not got the right colour I could do so.Today I went back with an unused tin as I realised I needed a darker shade. However I did t have a receipt (I don't think I asked for one at the time) and somehow they didnt have my address on the system so I was refused a swap for another colour. It's trivial as they are only £5 each but I just expected better from F&B. I will probably just get similar paint from elsewhere now.

Visited earlier in 2022. Very friendly and helpful staff. Provide me knowledge that was very useful and I simply would have not picked up on otherwise. Staff were very patient and talked me through the options and combinations. They were very frank as well on what was realistic. There was no pressure to sell. On the finished results, I get many compliments on the colour. You are an absolute credit to the brand. Farrow & Ball is now my go to!

I visited the Wilmslow store on the morning of Saturday 8th July. Both assistants were extremely friendly and welcoming. Their knowledge of colour schemes and wallpaper made choosing schemes extremely easy. I was really impressed with their expertise. They provided a balance of support but also allowed me time to browse. Thank you for making choosing from so many palettes easy! I took their advise and chose the recommended Shadow White to go with my Hague Blue kitchen. I was also able to choose some wallpaper samples to take home. Thank you again. Fantastic customer service.

Great paint shop. Great colour recommendations. Great advice on how much paint you need. Happy when you let them know how your painting went. They offer follow up advice when you find something during your project.

Having recently relocated from London,to the village of Alderley Edge - my wife and I have employed a firm of local decorators.Upon their recommendation, we visited the showroom on Monday this week.We had hoped to browse the wallpaper and paint products, with the intention of placing a substantial order.Unfortunately we were extremely uncomfortable, as a result of the cold temperature within the showroom.The members of staff were very helpful and apologetic, assuring my wife and I that it was only a temporary fault with the heating system, and would be attended to as soon as practicable.We briefly discussed the option of a colour consultation service the showroom provides - as an alternative to staying within the unwelcoming chilly environment.However my wife would have preferred to peruse the wallpaper displays at that time - as we had a spare moment in our schedule.We are extremely disappointed that a ‘Premium’ branded company is unable to provide the customer care, one would associate with its reputation.I have reluctantly written this review, as it is my understanding that to date, the heating system remains - NOT fully operational!The situation would not be tolerated in the Capital.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Andrea and Martin for their help and decorating wisdom! Red Earth was the perfect terracotta. :--) Highly recommend.

We visited here today and were greeted immediately with an offer of help. I was grateful as the sheer volume of colours in the store can be overwhelming. The lady was getting out sample colour cards to show me which were close to what we wanted. I left with some sample paints. It is definitely worth a visit because of the choice on offer! Thank you

Must admit, you certainly get what you pay for at F&B Wilmslow. The paint is 2nd to none as is the service. I visited the store on Friday with Sam, in particular, attentive & helpful. I already knew the colour I wanted for my kitchen cabinets but Sam gave me great advice on the various finishes not to mention best practice to deliver a perfect finish. I came out with rather more than I initially came in for but Sam even gave me a hand taking the paint (including primer) to my car. I'd almost forgotten what great service was until my trip to the store on Friday!

I've shopped at this store for a number of years and always found the staff very helpful - and pleasant to deal with until today. I went to collect a phone order and while I was attended to straight away, I felt very pressurised as the assistant must have asked me 5 or 6 times over a 7-min period if there was something I wanted and told me several times while I was browsing that my order was in the counter. I replied each time to say I was fine, that I was browsing, etc. A smile from the assistant and a more relaxed approach without what I can only describe as a surly expression and demeanor would have gone a long way. She seemed to only start to realise that she could be more pleasant when she saw me take a photo of the 'give us a review' card on the counter!UPDATE: I visited this store again a week ago to return an unneeded tin of paint. I called first to check I could still do that, and the chap I spoke to on the phone was really friendly and lovely. He was equally lovely and welcoming when I got to the store, and I felt this time that I was treated as a valued customer - which restores my confidence in shopping there again. :-)
