I know that area is up and coming, but the venue was just bad all around. Uninteresting, expensive and basic.

Went there for Hip Hop music. Great place with food and drink options were available. Had to pay by cash for food as they don't accept cards. Drinks can be bought using cards

Champions league final. We arrived 30 minutes after the gates had opened. All tables were already filled, only 6 plus some booths! Toilets were absolutely disgusting, they said they been cleaned but they clearly they hadn’t. No toilet roll or soap! Advert stated multiple screens there was only 1. Advert stated food stalls, there were none! Drinks were so overpriced and pricing was inconsistent! Beginning of the night they were £5 then someone was charged £7.50 towards the end of the night! A lady was wee’d on by a lout who couldn’t be bothered using the toilet! I wouldn’t bother giving one star but I had to to post this review! We will never return!

Attended event here. Minimum possible thought went into organisation and facilities were basic.Examples: toilet facilities had no hand drying towels or blowers. Event was an Oktoberfest theme and despite advertising Baverian-style fare, provided a burger van parked outside the venue. Beer options? 2 types of lager.Two stars rather than one only because security at the venue was great.

I've been to 4 bottomless brunches throughout summer 2021, and shanade was the most amazing hostess I've ever had. She was kind, courteous and made sure that we were satisfied with our drinks throughout our experience, I have already booked to return to Box yard in 2 occasions following my first visit, with my friends and my boyfriend, and I am consid bringing my work team here thank you so Shanades amazing service. I can't wait to bring my boyfriend and mum here. To anyone who is looking for bottomless brunch, do not go to town where you get ignored and don't get your money worth, come here and get served by shanade, who is amazing. My only regret is not coming sooner! Thank you Boxx Yard and Shanade who made our experience memorable x

We went there to watch champions league final. £23 per person just for entrance which I thought wow but ok its champions league final maybe it will be worth it. First shock was 6 tables people could sit around. Majority of the people had to stand from the time they let us in until the end. There was no food at all and £6.50 per can of Budweiser was just shocking and you could see that on everyone's face. Price of the beer" was the main topic for everyone for the first 30 minutes.Toilet was without paper

Terrible venue. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this venue is a taxi journey away from the centre. Arrived to a 90s summer BBQ with a live singers. No BBQ, various music played, no food, expensive drinks. Toilets was blocked. The live singers was an acoustic set for around 20 mins where again it was not 90s music. The venue was incredibly rude to my friend when she's messaged her issues with the day, one quote is 'anything else to moan about?' Don't give this venue your money, if the event doesn't go right their customer skills are shocking .

Was meant to be there for an event which was cancelled last minute and without letting ticket buyers know (no fault of the box yard), staff were amazing and made sure we were accommodated for, going as far as to make sure the right kind of music was playing. Sinead in particular was incredible, she managed to turn the whole day around and constantly made sure we had everything we wanted.

Came for the euro final. Great atmosphere. Live music got the crowd going. Service fantastic. Only negative is there's no cover for when it rained. Top location for the big game though.
