The setting in a beautiful part of the Lancashire countryside only adds the fantastic experience and training on offer here !Making the difficult decision to change career was eased once I found my feet, thanks to the professionalism of the team at Canine Groom School.Had the training not been as thorough and insightful through the ICMG qualification I chose, I very much doubt I would’ve coped taking over the business I bought.Great place, great people, great training !!!

I trained to be a dog groomer here and everyone is so lovely, the atmosphere is so positive and friendly, I actually miss going now I've finished my course! I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are thinking of becoming a dog groomer, the training really is outstanding, there is no such thing as a silly question and you can ask the same thing as many times as you want and they never get annoyed with you and the support is still ongoing when you leave! They get 5 Stars from me!!

Having just completed my City and Guilds level 3 diploma at Canine Groom School I could not be happier. I have been taught by the best team possible. I started the course having never held a pair of scissors or clippers in my life. With the constant tutoring, advice, help and above all patience from Poppy, Molly, Ashleigh and Shannon I have now been able to follow my dreams. At 52 years old I never thought I would do it, but this shows its never too late to learn. My only regret is that I never did years ago. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know and work with this fantastic team and all the wonderful groomers that I have met along the way. Canine Groom school made it possible for me to complete the course alongside my full time 12 hour shift job. They were so flexible with my attendance so there is no excuse why anyone can not do what I have. I qualified on Monday 8th of July and had my first two very satisfied customers on Tue 9th July whom have already rebooked for in 6 weeks time. Steve gave me the tools for setting up my business and all the tips I needed on the business day that is included in the course. You could not wish to be in a more delightful setting than Canine Groom school, what a stunning area, such beautiful and relaxing surroundings. I'm going to miss you all so much but I know with the massive support from the Student Facebook Group I will never feel lost as I know I have all the support I will ever need. I trained here mid 2020. Very very professional course. Poppy, Steve and all the staff are really helpful and make you feel very comfortable during your time at groom school. Now qualified and running a very busy salon within 8 months of qualifying with plans for expansion. Poppy runs the groom school to the highest standard and Steve helps with the business advise. These guys really do know every aspect of the industry. The aftercare is second to none and would recommend this school to anyone considering a career in this industry. I attended the college to complete my level 3 city and guilds dog grooming course; I had previously completed my level 2 at a different college and wanted to fast track my level 3. I definitely made the right decision; the Groom school was incredible. I had already been grooming for over a year but had little confidence and skill; in the 2 and half weeks that I was at the school my confidence grew so fast and I learnt so many different skills. The staff at the Groom School helped me so much! All the staff are talented and so easy to talk to; there was always someone there to help me. I could not fault the school at all, would 1000% recommend.

An amazing experience. Everyone helped me achieve my dream of becoming a dog groomer. All the tutors are friendly,patient and makes for a very relaxed and enjoyable time while learning. I would highly recommend canine groom school, if dog grooming is your dream. I haven't looked back, and owe it all to this team.

After 20 years in the British Army I had come to an end of my career, I searched many schools for a new beginning working with animals and after a visit to the Canine Groom School decided this was the one for me.Upon my visit I was given all of the options available to me. The City & Guilds, the ICMG and the week long Myerscouch College. During my 25 days I came across many students of varying backgrounds who were partaking in different courses.I was very nervous at first, the instructors spotted this but instead of mentioning anything to me, they adapted to suit my needs and adjusted their styles and approach to best suit me. For this I cannot thank them enough.I myself, have done the duo qualification. I completed my City & Guilds on the 05 May 17 a more confident individual as well as groomer. This isn’t just a school, it is a family network with an endless amount of community support and advice.I was nervous about leaving the Armed Forces and entering into a new career and field, yet with the Canine Groom School I have entered another family of support.However, please be aware that this course will require your efforts and drive. You will lead and control your future. Poppy, Steve and the Staff will give you all the tools and abilities you need and more but it is you that will make the magic happen.After searching and looking at other schools I cannot recommend this school enough
