Purdey is an incredible vocal coach with amazing knowledge and a fabulous supportive attitude. After not having the confidence to sing in front of people for over 20 years, Purdey showed a lot of patience and encouragement with me and since then I have sung on stage in front of an audience! Purdey is a really great vocal coach, who is happy to work at your pace and to take account of your preferences while giving you enough frameworks and structure to make progress and learn. She is always able to helpfully coach and add value, asking questions or suggesting things as you work on a song, in such a way that it builds on what you are doing and make you feel more confident and competent. Lots of empathy and a willingness to listen and understand what you are feeling as you sing. Loving my lessons

Purdey is a great singing teacher, she makes you feel at ease and every lesson enjoyable. She takes time to get to know you as a person as well as your voice so that the lessons are guided to your own interests and goals. As a complete beginner, the initial sessions for me were helpfully structured with key vocal topics which helped me to get a much better understanding of my voice. We then went on to work on songs that I was most excited about, and further technical topics were introduced naturally as they became relevant.I am so glad I started my singing journey with Purdey. I have become so much more confident in my voice and what it can do, and would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to develop their passion for singing and performance.

After having several lessons with Purdey, she is very knowledgeable about singing, and has helped me to achieve a bigger vocal range. She is very bubbly and friendly, and puts you at ease straight away. I love the fact that she encourages me to try new things and sets goals. I can't recommend her enough - she is not your typical traditional singing teacher, she is more contemporary, and doesn't stick to classical all the time like other singing teachers. Purdey is a great teacher. She puts so much into every lesson. She is patient and informative. Giving lots of advice and instruction. Also lots of back up work.I've had other singing teachers, but Purdey is by far the best.I would recommend her to everyone.

Purdey is so easy to communicate and get along with, her lessons are a pure joy and something to really look forward to. I went mainly to boost my confidence, not only in singing but in general and her lessons definitely did that. Her knowledge is outstanding, and she teaches it in a very easy way to understand. Highly recommend Purdey’s singing lessons, I first started my training with Purdey in September and I can already hear great improvements within my technique and my confidence. Lessons are always really friendly and enjoyable, highly recommend!

Purdey has been teaching my daughter Sophia (10) for over a year now as is an excellent teacher! Sophia loves the sessions, the warm ups and the support Purdey provides her. Purdey is also really great at reaching out to local community to source opportunities for her students, with Sophia getting the chance to perform songs in front of hundreds of people at Lutterworth festival last summer, which really helped her with her confidence! Her online sessions are just as good as in person, ensuring that students continue to get support when we cannot attend.
