I bought a car for my son just before Christmas. Gus allowed us 2 drive tests with it and we went ahead with purchase, knowing that a little paint touch up would need to be fixed later on. We scheduled the paint job during the spring and it was done very quick, to great results. Sonny very happy about his car, which he will hopefully keep for a long time, and mum about the smooth transaction. Gus even answered weekend texts, which is very unusual. Couldn't fault these guys. Very courteous through out. Ah, forgot, they also changed my truck tyres over the winter. Job well done. Good luck with the sales gentlemen! CB

Absolutely brilliant! Have used Cargills for a few years now and they are great. Last week I bought a used car from Dundee and it started to develop problems. I took it into Cargills and they sorted everything, even going the extra mile to call the garage I bought it from to claim against the warranty on my behalf, just brilliant!

I highly recommend this garage for fast and efficient service and friendly and clear communication. The shock absorber went on my old BMW while on a family holiday in May/June. The garage’s diagnosis was very quick and they busted a gut to get us back on the road, knowing that time was a big issue for us. Really appreciate how they squeezed us in at the last minute and rang around to get us the best price on parts. Cheers gents — we got all the way back to Hastings in one piece thanks to you!

Bought a car from this garage 12 months ago and have already had to take it in to be repaired several times due to various faults, the latest of which has cost me almost half of what I paid for the car in the first place. This may just be back luck, however I would not recommend anyone buy a car from this garage after my experience with them.

Rescued after the car had engine management warning and lost power on a long drive. Derek and his mechanics were very helpful and generous with their time and located and rectified an intermittent electrical connection fault using all the gadgetry and some inspired detective work.Brilliant garage, thanks

Whilst travelling from Inverness back to Manchester this week I unfortunately developed a leak in my brake fluid pipe near Perth and had to stop and call the RAC as my brakes were failing.I was fortunate that the RAC engineer knew this garage personally and made the effort to call them to see if they could get me on their ramp which they could.Drove to the garage where the very friendly team quickly identified cause and location of the leak and effected a temporary repair to get me home.Quickly repaired (back on road in 2 hours) with great 'can do' attitude and a very fair invoice.Got home safely with no further issues and I only wish I had a garage with an owner and staff you can trust like this near me so I could use them all the time but sadly gems like this are hard to find.Thank you Cargill's for turning a possible overnight disaster into a manageable delay and I would have no reservations in recommending your services either to locals or those passing through like me.Best RegardsSteve
