Wetherby Racecourse

Great car boot sale with lots of different sellers and bargains. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Early entry fee is good value. During peak times this car boot sale can get busy which means it takes longer to go round.

I go there several times a year and yet have never been to a race meeting! Antiques fairs, boot sales, micro car shows. Its a great venue for all of these things, with plenty of grass parking outside. The whole site is undulating so would be fun in a wheelchair. But its a pleasant venue right next to the A1 for easy access.

I was at Wetherby race course on last Wednesday 13 October and it was not awfully busy but the 1500 people there really enjoyed all seven races but sadly the numbers of runners were low at seven races and total runners were 45 total ..

Good little boot fair on a Sunday. It has portable toilets I've been in worse in some pubs ha ha.

Well managed bars easy to get served not queuing too long for food or drinks plenty of toilet facilities

Visit here to wander round the car boot on Sunday. Past few visits have been disappointing as the turnout had been poor. Hoping it picks up towards t he summer and we see lots more sellers.Very well run and organised though.

Quite reasonable price to enter racecourse. All staff really friendly makes this an enjoyable day out in pleasant country surroundings

Well I didn't know I was attending one of their biggest days of the year and I got an £8.50 enclosure ticket not knowing what to expect. Absolutely amazing value, I thought I deserved a treat being a single parent on a childfree day. It was fantastic, had a laugh with loads of people, wasn't drinking as driving but watching them go over hurdles, fences and cross the finish line was fab, even watching them go to post was fascinating, some truly wonderful characters. The bar was good the chicken balti pie with mushy peas was spot on toilets were clean and I was a bit worried about driving away but even that wasn't as bad as it originally looked. Great day, thanks! Taking kids to Xmas jumper day!

Used the Dine & View for 6 of us to celebrate a birthday and it was an excellent day. Standard of food was very good and staff friendly and helpful from car parking to all facilities and restaurant. Shame we didn't have many winners.....!!
