Lovely walks on the fire roads and lots of small paths and trails that dart off in every direction. Lots of wildlife to see. The trails or shared with cyclists and the parking is FREE.

Free carpark which was about half full during my evening visit. Seems to be a popular place for dog walkers and mountain bikers. I followed the blue trail which took about 50 minutes or so at a moderate pace. The ground is mainly a gravel/stone/mud combination and was relatively dry during my visit. The trail is well marked and very easy to follow. There were a few mild gradients along the way, although many more varied and interesting areas just off the trail. There are some quite narrow parts of the road leading up to this car park, which may account for the lack of traffic around the car park.

My first visit to Cann Woods, though I live nearby. Very pleasant and perfect for a walk on a hot day when you'd rather walk in the shade

Had a great walk through the woods but nearly got took out by a squad of mountain bikers probably our fault for venturing off the trail and onto the bike tracks. Will know for next time.

Pram and wheelchair friendly. Lots of different walking/ bike routes can be good long day out.Good sized car park. However there can be people riding horses in this area, wild deer, geese and pheasants, segways and can sometimes you can hear shootings from a distance. So if your dog can be spooked or have a high prey drive be vigilant. There is also a dogs and cats rehoming centre opposite so dogs are found to be lead walked around these paths so please take care.

Good long walk for dogs, and plenty of trails to follow.Unusual ducks and bird life to spot here, deer, squirrels and toads so far.

Such a beautiful woods. Loads of open spaces for the kids to burn off some energy. It has open areas and picnic benches should you want to enjoy some food while surrounded by nature. Lots of parking as well which is nice and wasn't too busy even on a sunny Saturday. Nice selection of different routes too which have smaller walks for younger children. Also you can rent out Segways here which I haven't tried out but looks fun. Highly recommended and I'll be coming back here very soon.

Beautiful woods. We went on a sunny day and the paths were clear and dry. There's a little area with picnic benches under some trees which is nice.Unfortunately a few dog owners have left poo bags hanging from trees and strewn on the paths which is a shame as it ruins an otherwise beautiful stretch of woodland. The parking is ample and it's easy to get to, if slightly off the beaten track.

Love taking the pony or the dog in the woods for a beautiful walk. Not alot of places to sit down for a rest. Some tracks are uneven. One of my favourite places to go.
