Friendly, professional service, they did a fantastic job of setting up and fettling my telecaster, its never played better! Fixed my looper pedal too. I'm delighted.

I took two guitars in for setup that I’ve had difficulty with for quite some time. I agreed with Tristan that there was no rush for the work to be done. I was notified sooner than expected that the work had been completed and I collected at my next opportunity. I must say, the work carried out by technician Damian is splendid. They feel like two completely different guitars. Can’t recommend highly enough. Superb service and very affordable, especially with the AGS membership.

Had my Telecaster in for some TLC. First time using AGS and was massively impressed from start to finish. Damo did a superb job on the setup. Total professional. 10/10

We took in my 30 year old Ovation guitar to the super talented guys at Ackworths. It had been unplayable for a long time. The guys took a lot of time and effort to try and rectify the issues. It is now something I can begin to enjoy again.These guys have great passion for their trade and are very very talented. Thankyou for all your hard work, I would highly recommend them to anyone

Simply brilliant - took a long a guitar that hadn’t been used / played for years due to warped neck resulting in a very poor action.The technicians tried various things to resolve the issues and kept me informed at each stage. They were totally committed to resolving the issues to ensure the guitar was playable - brilliant as after their considerable efforts it is now once again being played. Great technical skills and customer care. Can’t rate them highly enough.

I have a status energy bass that has traveled the world with me over the years but the neck got brutally twisted and everyone I asked about repairing it said it was too far gone. Tristan at Ackworth's having set up a couple of my acoustics said to bring it it when we were talking about it lo and behold he has managed with the aid of some nifty heat machine tech to put it back to its original alignment. I am so grateful the bass plays really well again and I will gig with it this Friday! I really can't recommend these guys highly enough. 5 stars doesn't really cover it.

Ackworth Guitar Setups have always done a first class job on my guitars. Quality work with excellent attention to detail and great customer service too. Would highly recommend to anyone requiring any work done on their guitars (or amps for that matter).

The neck pickup in my bass died, so I had these lads replace it with the pickup that had originally been in the bridge position, then replace the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan misicman style Humbucker. The results speak for themselves. They even loaned me a backup bass at no extra cost to meet a gig commitment (which I subsequently bought from them as I was in need of a backup bass).Bare in mind that these guys take a lot of time with their work, (mine was in for a few weeks) but it's worth it. They take the time to ensure a first rate job. Results speak for themselves. Prices are good too. Would use again.
