!!! ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ !!!Dropped in a set of Megane RS wheel for a standard refurb.After some hassle and having a wheel dropped by the owner. The quality of work was very poor. Each wheel had multiple problems with the coating.Raising this with the owner he seemed so laid back and it wasn't an issue. He had an excuse for each issue.See photos of the wheels.The wheel he dropped he had stripped and allowed to corrode in his cold oven over 3-4 days.After a heated debate I have ended up with 3 wheels with a bad quality powder coat and 1 wheel stripped to bare alloy.Wheels had been taken to a Proper wheel shop that takes pride in their work. I should have used them before coming to this kid on outfit. I was also lied to regarding the damaged wheel. DO NOT USE !!

Make Capital Alloys your first port of call to get your alloys powder coated. I handed my VW alloys into Paul that were in a really rough state after stupidly using acid wheel cleaner on them a few years ago. He said given the rough condition he would do his best. When I got them back I was astonished by how good they looked, they looked as good as new. Paul is a really friendly, knowledgeable, gentleman to deal with. We had a problem with one of our alloys and after phoning Capital Alloys we were told to bring the car in straight away. Paul had a look at it and it turned out that it was extremely dangerous to drive, he offered to repair it straight away and even gave us a lift to Costco so that we weren't walking about in the cold and picked us up when the job was finished. I bought a set of custom alloys and tyres online for my Kia Sorento edition and was having trouble finding anyone that was prepared to swap the standard wheels it came with with my custom alloys.After being fobbed off by several so called alloy specialists and wheel pros all around Edinburgh I came across Paul’s business Capital Alloys.I decided to pay him a visit first and show him my vehicle and from the very first conversation to the last conversation Paul was an absolute gentleman, super knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with the process. You would be hard pressed to find anywhere else that would give you that level of expertise, attention to detail and top notch customer service. Went to Paul really due to the fact he was local to me. Found him to be really knowledgeable and honest and offered great advice. He carried out the fix on the car which included having to get the wheel cut and then welded. Price was really good and would recommend to anyone.John

Just want to say how taken back I was by the generosity showed to me at the roadside following getting 2 punctures. I was awaiting a tow truck to arrive and was offered 2 tyres and fitting by capital alloys going past on there way home from work. This was offered freely just to help me out. This goes way above anything I have ever encountered before. If this level of service is anything to go by I can’t recommend them highly enough.
