I prebooked a table for the 3 of us on Sunday evening and two of us had the festive turkey dinner and my other friend had gammon, eggs and chips with peas. The service was good and the place was clean. It was noted that our turkey festive dinners were very tasty but not hot only just warm upon when they were given to us from the waiter. (I'm not sure if they were left on the side in the kitchen for awhile). Anyhow, later the waiter did ask if everything was alright and we did point this out to him, but he did not say anything or we hear anymore. My friends gammon, eggs and chips with peas looked nice and she did say this was hot. The dessert was lovely. We will call in again in the future next year to have another go, as it was a nice pub and clean with friendly staff. Please bear in mind the food serving times on a Sunday is only until 6pm.

My husband booked surprise birthday meal along with my friend and my daughter. Lovely food and nice surprise cake came along with it, see you soon again. Would like some more vegan options.

A lot of money has been spent but looking shabby now with sticky menus and tables. Service started ok but staff soon concentrated on getting tables ready for tomorrow and we were ignored and so weren’t ask for desert order even though menus were presented. Their loss as no deserts or coffee ordered. Disappointing as a shame as could be a nice product

Such a great place to relax and ear if you choose too. Atmosphere is epic to just chill and be yourself in a fantastic small town/village pub.

Met my sister there for a meal. Food was really lovely, atmosphere was nice, lovely staff . Had to put your registration in a machine at the bar for parking on site. It's clean ,

Popped in for an unplanned quick bite to eat on the way to a Xmas event.We arrived at a lovely pub with a great atmosphere full of local drinks & dines.Fantasticly helpful & friendly staff.We will definitely be heading back againJacob

It was our first visit but certainly won't be our last. We were very impressed with the food and availability of non alcoholic drinks. The wine was good quality too and not over priced. It's our new meeting place as we can all get there easily by train.

We had pre booked for 2pm today. Called in to book last night and had drinks in the garden, no crisps as only prawn cocktail were available. Food service today was really slow, mains took a long time to arrive and we had to remind that we'd ordered and paid for desserts after another long wait. Ordered 3x the veggie option from 2 course Sunday menu at fixed price . They only had 2 of these so took veggie alternative as offered not realising that it would be charged at individual menu price which made it about £2 more expensive for two courses. Food was nice though.
