I've stayed at 5 different Inn Collection properties in the Lake District and always have lovely stays there. The locations are brilliant and the bedrooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfasts and dinners are very generous/tasty and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Enjoyed a lovely staff at The Swan in Grasmere. Excellent location, cosy pub, lovely food and the team were brilliant. Nothing was too much effort.

Stayed at a number of these inns and they’re all great. Close to some decent hikes and couldn’t fault the food and drinks. All enjoyed it, especially the dog!

We recently stayed at The Dower House Knaresboro for a 2 night stay for my birthday, we had a few issues on checking in, wrong room, no heating etc but once we got over this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Obviously it is looking a bit tired but we understand a full refurb taking place later this year. The staff were friendly even though they were short staffed andvery helpful especially Sarah, Mia and the manager Phil who had only started the day we arrived but nothing was too much trouble to him and the use of the spa was fabulous

Excellent pub. We were a group of 10 and the food was excellent for both adults and children. Really nice establishment, could spend all day there! Would really recommend for any occasion!

Had a family Sunday dinner at The Kingslodge Inn on Sunday. Was lovely and lots of food. Had a dessert of the special’s menu the Hazelnut sundae, which could have done with some brownie chunks and a bit more cream but lovely other than that.

Had a brilliant stay recently at The Waterhead Inn. Rooms were nicely decorated following the refurbishment, staff were really friendly and the evening meal we had was lovely. Brilliant location as right next to the lake but also not far to walk into Ambleside.

Another great stay at an Inn Collection Group Pub. Always greeted with a smile, food excellent and reasonably priced. Very dog friendly. Great locations.
