Beer in excellent condition. Best time to go is when they open at 4pm as there's no one else in. Excellent selection of ales. Would highly recommend it.

Nice real ale pub. Lovely staff. Well located in the village. Not a pub for conversation as some regulars keep themselves to themselves. But that downside out of the way. Nice beer and lovely Lancashire crisps.

Great little boozer. If your looking for generic beers or larger don't bother. The Skew sells real ale, Cider and some spirits. No music or tv and only sells bar snacks. If you want a quiet chat and a quality beer it's the place for you. If you want a pint of Foster's your in the wrong place.

Sunday 21st May 2023I visited this fantastic MicropubThis great ale house/micropub is a great place with good outside drinking space in the square in front of the pub.It's really easy-going pleasant, mostly local following and good bar staff on my visitThe pub served a grand range of obscure beers, and they were all well kept. I had 2 of them tonightThis pub is definitely worth 5 stars

Such a good place this. A wide variety of real ales reasonably priced. The Precinct is a great vibe for drinking outside hope this continues after May.

Love this place. No music or t.v. just great beer and conversation, and Phil and Amanda are the best hosts.
