Absolutely loved the food. I traveled from west London all the way to Ilford to try this and I must admit its so worth it. I only wish there was 1 nearer to me so I wouldn't have to travel so far. The only place to serve the best watani burgers, we are hooked. Well packed and freshly prepared.

First time ordered from them really enjoyed the watani box meal. Comes with lots of things. Combination of kabab rice dumplings dessert chilli sauce etc. Huge portion. Loved the taste of the food. Highly recommended. Definitely order again soon.

2 stars just for Chapli kebab and Rice.Meat in the Kabuli pulao was extremely smelly, couldnt eat. Rice were cooked well. Dumplings were not good. Kidney beans were ok. Chapli kebab was tasty.Price checked online showing 9.99. but we were charged £11.99 for the box and £1 separate for drink.I do not recommend this place.

The food is great especially if it is fresh. The kabuli polao is nice and the meat items are also good. The signature WataniBox will give you a good taste of everything. Orders are taken through a window accessible through a side alley- the whole process feels a bit mysterious lol. The food makes up for it though.

First time trying the Watani box after being recommended so by a colleague. Delicious and different to the usual places around Ilford. Big size portion and very tasty. The lamb melts in your mouth and is very tender, I really enjoyed the kidney Ben's which I didn't think I would but my favourite was the lamb dumplings. Wow! Will be back next week.

Great food at a great price. Wonderfully presented and very generous portions. Good enough to put in front of guests if you’re not cooking.The food was well prepared, good quality and full of flavour. The meat in the Kabuli Pilau was wonderfully tender and the Chapli Kebab, super juicy. The dumplings were a novelty for me, which I enjoyed greatly. I’m not sure there was any need for the chips … but then again, who doesn’t love chips.I’m not sure if they do delivery anymore but when I ordered the Watani boxes, the food arrived hot and seemed to have been freshly prepared.I will definitely be ordering again.

The best quality Afghan food I’ve ever had. I’ve tried so many places but this place is the absolute best. I got the qabuli pilaw and the meat just fell off the bone, rice was perfect. This is the only place I know that provides a decent portion for the price. Will be back to try everything else and will definitely be a regular customer now. Normally Afghan food is overpriced everywhere but this is truly amazing. My husband and entire family loved it.

Very friendly, approachable owner, willing to help with literally anything. Food and vibes are great but service and people behind the business make it stand out. A must try!
