I attended a 2 day Sign Painting beginner workshop with Joha Mune and Laura Nelson (szuszu sign co) in the Vault Arts Centre Belfast Nov 22. It was a great few days. We learned soo much and in great detail. It was fun, and we were all made to feel so comfortable from the outset. Joha and Laura were just great, so helpful, so talented and just lovely people. I would highly recommend a workshop with either of them.

I loved the 2 day signwriting workshop with Joha. I learnt so much in really enjoyable company with the other students and Joha dropping little pearls of wisdom throughout and answering all our questions. It was lovely to do this in Joha’s studio, with the warmth of her family and the pups around of course as well as the lovely food. Thanks so much for a lovely weekend of learning, warmth and support. I’d definitely consider more courses in future as this did give me a lot of confidence and was a lovely bit of self care for me. Thanks Joha! X

I attended Joha's 2 day introduction to sign painting course and it was loads of fun! She is a fountain of knowledge, very happy to help and answer questions and explained everything really well. Plus her painting skills are amazing to watch. We all had a fab 2 days, it was class to see how much we improved in that time. Couldn't recommend enough!

Such a fantastic intro to sign writing/ sign painting! Joha is warm, friendly and very informative. She is a very supportive and positive teacher; I particularly found that extremely helpful while building my confidence in sign painting. The weekend was wonderful and the food was fantastic. Can’t recommend doing this course enough! Looking forward to progressing the skills I learned and hoping that she’ll do further classes in the future.

Joha guilded a white gold house number onto my house. Firstly, it’s absolutely amazing. The work that went into it was so skilled. Secondly, Joha is an absolute delight to work with and have around ! Highly highly recommend to anyone looking for someone that really knows there stuff !

As a business owner, i had been looking for someone creative to help build a brand logo and identity for my coffee shop business. My main concept was to create something that would look good on any sign or merchandise. After many failed attempts of business logos from other professional artists, I contacted Joha with the hope of creating something different. I was very surprised how professional and efficient she was. Once she received the design brief and concept she got to work straight away. As client, i felt my ideas were taken on board and she really listened and was able to translate my ideas into reality. She provided a few examples and we were able to agree the main concept and were able to drill down on the actual design as you can see in my coffee shop. I felt we had a great fun working relationship and was really pleased with the end result, everytime i look at our sign, i feel proud as it is so professional looking, fresh and so unique. I love her work so much, i commissioned more work, in fact every time she came to do work, i had asked to to do more work, so from hand painting front shop signs, to hand painting toilet signs (4 in total), coffee machine, window and bottles.
