Our car began to smell of burning and we noticed smoke coming into the cabin.We called up MDR to book it in for a check over and they were extremely accommodating, fitting us in the next morning.We dropped the car off and went over the symptoms and left the car with them. We got a call later that day explaining what they thought has happened and said they had checked as much as they could without taking a load of bits apart, and noted that if it happens again, to bring it back in. They didn't even charge us for their service.It is wonderful to have the reassurance that the car is running fine (we have taken it for a number of longer journies since and the symptoms are no longer present, confirming their theory), but even more so to have found such a wonderful garage to support us.Thank you MDR team for your professional and friendly help.

Came with initial fan belt repair, Mark and team found a few more issues which would of scuppered my my driving holiday abroad so appreciated the advice. He also showed me the defective parts. Invoice was clearly broken-down and amount was reasonable

DPF warning light issue. MDR identified fault as requiring a new DPF sensor. (£225). DPF Warning light reappeared driving home. Returned a couple of weeks later to MDR. No testing/inspection adavised to get a DPF clean. Mobile mechanic identied tubing cracked (broke apart on removal) (£180). Problem should have originally been identified using live" data information pre or following DPF sensor replacment and also at second visit to MDR with the recurrent DPF warning light issue."

Car needed a new clutch and Mark was able to sort it quickly and at a competitive price. Friendly and helpful.

I can't thank Mark and his team enough for their diagnostic abilities and honesty. Two separate garages had diagnosed a very expensive problem on my car but I felt I needed another opinion as I wasn't happy with what they were saying. A friend recommended Mark who diagnosed something totally different and a lot cheaper. Mark was correct with his diagnosis. The honesty and customer service from this garage goes beyond 5 stars. Just got back from MDR Automotive to have a couple of catalysts fitted. First off, great service and Mark is a great guy. Chuffed with the price and they got my car in straight away etc and even loaned me a car while they were working on mine. Couldn't ask for more. This is definitely our go-to garage from now on :)
