Love the pool, gym is great and staff are really friendly

This place is terrible and I can see why everyone was telling me not to join here.Facilities are often closed or restricted for other things so you pay for something you can’t use and when you want to use the pool you have to book in advance and can only attend during certain times. Compared to the life centre and Devonshire it’s never open.The gym isn’t bad but the equipment range is limited there isn’t a lot of weights equipment so you can go for a whole workout without using what you want.The shower and toilet facilities are often dirty and slippery with damaged floors and tiles. Shower facilities here are still communal.Whilst the staff are pleasant they are clearly untrained and unsupported.My Membership was cancelled about a week after I joined And the staff seemed happy about that so they didn’t have to deal with me keep asking for what I paid for!

Lovely place clean and tidy but it's a shame about the staff there extremely immature and rude I was walking past reception the othere day when I heard two guys say she's weird one tall slim framed guy with dark hair the other a little shorter with glasses short dark hair I just felt really upset walking past like they could speak about people so blatantly like that :( also another time I was in the gym using the floor matswhen a group of about 3 guys who work there cam over to look at something on the bord and was practically stood right on my matt I was using to work out on for a good 10 mins I just thought it was really rude and made me feel really uncomfortable it's not on how they treat people I hope it dosnt happen to anyone els :(

Gym instructors are immature and rude.Gym is cramped and poorly laid out.Pool is not open all the time.Shuts at 1700 at the weekend.For a university with a sports science focus this gym should be a embarrassment

Great gym, lots of modern equipment, very clean with friendly, helpful staff. Definitely recommend it.

Gym was nice, quiet and clean on a Saturday. The staff were friendly and efficient in setting me up with a membership.

If you like to share a shower with multiple men this is your gym. I'm dissapointed that there are barely any private cubicles to shower in peace.Its also dissapointing to have to go through all the effort to book a slot to use the pool rather than just use it when you feel.It also closes quite early for a gym on weekends.

They Refused to give me a refund i payed online I had to start a new shift at work days after paying so i couldn't attend any sessions they refused to give me a refund i never attended one session they still wouldn't give me a refund no hearts.

Staff and facilities are excellent. I would give it 5 stars if it had private shower facilities. I have no desire to be fully naked with children and other adults walking past. Doesn't take much to provide a cubicle with a door on it

I went today to the physio dept with a calf and knee problem picked up playing football yesterday. Alfie was excellent. Genial, knowledgeable and effective. I highly recommend this place. Great value for money too.
