Would recommend this company to anyone. Work has been done to perfection. Fitters were on time, very friendly and polite, got on with the fittings and wouldnt have known they had ever been here because they had cleaned up so good. Would certainly have the company again

QA fitted windows at our house just over a week ago. From the initial quote through to the fitting, the QA team provided an excellent service. The price was competitive, there were no pushy sales, and the fitters did a great job - ensuring cleanliness inside and out. Stay away! Total rip-off. Work was quoted for and accepted but when the work was carried out the full works discussed did not happen. So we ended up paying nearly £900 for a bi-fold door adjustment, filling gaps with mastic in the orangery lantern, drilling a few holes in some guttering and a new bathroom window lock. What I was expecting was for the bi-fold to be deglazed fixed and refitted, a full service of the glass roof lantern and a new window lock. The people carrying out the work were lovely, however, they indicated we were probably paying for a new pane of glass in case they broke it. We asked if we get a discount considering they didn't break the glass but he just laughed. I was expecting the management to review the original quote based on the work actually completed and offer a discount as the original suggested work wasn't needed. They insist on 50% payment upfront too, which I did honour. After the work was completed I asked them for a detailed breakdown of costs but they failed to deliver this and instead asked for immediate settlement of the original quote. That is a seriously hefty price for a few hours of work and some mastic, nearly £300 per hour as the only cost besides labour was mastic and a new bathroom window lock. Beware!!! Get a full and detailed quote BEFORE you agree to any work with QA Window Systems!The very expensive mastic on the Orangery Lantern is still letting rain into the room in the recent windy downpours. :(
