About the Business
Driving Coach Pro | Drive Coach Pro is a driving school based in and serving the York area now specialising in automatic vehicles. I have over 13 years experience in teaching new drivers how to become accomplished and safe road users. The UK roads are becoming increasingly heavier with traffic and as such equipping new drivers with the skills to become a safe member of the driving community is paramount.

I passed first time after having lessons with Matt and I couldn't be more delighted! He's patient and calm so you feel at ease in the car, he's also easy to get along with, which can make all the difference. Learning as an adult can be a lot harder and I hadn't had great experiences with past instructors, so I'm really glad I found Matt, I highly recommend him as an instructor.

Matt is an incredibly patient and clear instructor, definitely teaches to each pupil's strengths and helps you overcome any weaker areas. I was extremely anxious about driving when Matt first started teaching me, however he was very thorough and determined to get me to pass. It took me a while to move past that anxiety but now I'm driving confidently by myself and even enjoying it :) would absolutely recommend!

Would Highly recommend Matt! Having no success with other driving instructors, I tried Matt. He is the most patient and friendliest driving instructor. He a list of useful handouts to help you pass. Thank you for all your hard work to help me pass and been very patient with me!

Matt is so patient and thorough. I had an unfortunate situation with my previous instructor which meant I had to find a new one, I am so glad I went with Matt. I was anxious about learning in a new car and I was put at ease from the first lesson.I really appreciate all the effort he put in to each and every lesson and I passed all thanks to him! Would highly recommend!

Matt gave our daughter her confidence back after a couple of lessons with a different instructor made her “never want to drive again”. Matt built her confidence up very quickly and she then looked forward to her driving lessons. Through Matt, she has just passed her test at the first attempt with only three minor faults! She is now a confident and capable driver, although she said she will miss her lessons with Matt as he was great to be around. Would definitely recommend for nervous and hesitant pupils as his teaching style builds up confidence as well as teaching the skills required to be a competent and safe driver!!
